31DC2017: Orange Nails

Saturday, 2 September 2017

Happy weekend everyone!   I hope you all have a great weekend planned.  I'm not entirely sure what I have planned at this stage, but I know I will be doing lots of manis!  It's been a big week of nail mail for me!  Anyway, today is day two of the 31DC2017 challenge.  The theme is orange nails.

I figured it had been quite some time (or at least it feels like it to me) since I have done a gradient so thought why not do an orange gradient for today's mani?  For my gradient I used China Glaze Metro Pollen-tin, Home Sweet House Music and Lady And The Vamp.  I stamped this image from Uberchic 10-03 using Powder Perfect's Black Stamping Polish.

My pictures don't really do this mani justice.  It's so bright in person and the gradient are more obvious.

I can't wait to see what everyone else does for their orange nails.

  3. Gorgeous gradient! Whenever I do one, I always remember how hard it is to get it to look as perfect as you did here...

    1. Thanks Zara. How do you do your gradients? I use to try and apply the polish directly onto the sponge and then onto my nails but I could never get it to blend nicely. I do have a tutorial on my blog how I do my gradients now. It's my favourite way and I seem to get better results. It also does depend on the polishes you use too.
