Picture Polish Vintage (Part) Collection - Swatches & Review

Monday, 1 April 2019

Today Picture Polish celebrates their 10 year anniversary!  It's such a huge milestone.  Not only are they celebrating with a limited time only sale (who doesn't love a sale? - be sure to check out all the sale details on their page) but they have also released a Vintage Collection.  This collection consists of six pastel chrome polishes and I just so happen to have two of them to share with you today.

Dame is described as a neutral pastel chrome polish.  This one does have visible brush strokes, especially on the first coat.  I found that they seemed to even out a bit as I added the additional coats.  The formula is on the sheer side and needed three coats to cover the nail line.  It is still quite see through at the tips in direct light.

Queen is described as a vintage rose chrome polish.  This one is definitely more opaque than Dame and the brush strokes aren't as visible either so big points for that.  I also don't mind the colour of this one.  The formula is easy to work with and is opaque in two coats, which is what I used for my swatch.

The full six piece Vintage Collection is available now from Picture Polish.
