Emily de Molly March 2017 Releases - Swatches & Review

Monday, 22 May 2017

I've doing well with keeping on top of my polish purchases from this year.  At this exact moment in time I only have two polish collections that I have purchased that I need to swatch (I only received them on Friday so there is a good reason they aren't swatched yet).  I have had these Emily de Molly polish sitting in my swatch racks for a lot longer than I had initially planned for a couple of reasons.  1) Hayley asked me to swatch some creme polishes for her (you can see those here if you missed it - although I am not sure if they are still available or not) and 2) I have been waiting ever so patiently for some sunshine but sadly that didn't happen for the most part.  I did managed to get some sunshine pictures of a couple of these polishes so yay!  As a word of warning, this post is quite picture heavy as there are ten polishes.

A Step To Climb is a pink/copper/green multichrome with a small amount of silver holographic glitters.  I really like this one.  The colour shift is great and the formula is good.  I used two coats for my swatch.

Divine Conversations is a dark purple jelly with red to green iridescent glitter, green to blue iridescent flakes, silver micro glitter and a small amount of silver holo micro shreds.  I really like this one.  The colour is really pretty and the formula is good.  I used three coats for my swatch.

Flecked Division is a light grey crelly with gold to green shifting shimmer, multichrome flakes and a small amount of iridescent glitter.  I am a huge fan of this one.  I think its so beautiful and I love the glitters in it.  I used two coats for my swatch.

LE49 is a pale purple linear holo with gold shimmer and silver micro glitter.  This is stunning and very sparkly.  I really wish that there was some sunshine when I swatched this polish (silly Melbourne and it's winter weather!).  My swatch shows three coats.

LE50 is a black holo with gold/green shimmer and green/blue iridescent flakes.  I am a big fan of this one.  I think it is so interesting and unique.  The formula is easy to use and is opaque in two coats.

Royal Dye is a red/purple multichrome with copper holo glitter and red to green iridescent glitter.  This one I actually wore for a few days and saw so many different colour shifts in natural light.  Do you think I took a picture of this in natural light?  No of course not.  I have no idea why, because this polish definitely shifts more than it looks in my pictures.  The formula is easy to use.  I used two thick coats for my swatch.

Shallow Depths is a blue/green/purple multichrome.  Huge fan of this one.  The colour shift is gorgeous and the formula is great.  My swatch shows three coats.

The Descent is a red/orange/olive multichrome with a very small amount of copper holographic glitter.  The formula is great, the colours are nice and shift well.  My swatch shows two coats.

Too Many Moves is a blue/purple/green multichrome with a very small amount of silver holographic glitter.  My pictures definitely don't do this polish the justice it needs.  It's so beautiful and the formula is great.  I used two coats for my swatch, however next time I would probably use three coats as this was still a little sheer at the tips in direct light for me.

Whim Of The Winds is a light blue subtle holo with Copper holo glitter and red to green iridescent glitter.  Quite a pretty polish with a good formula.  I used two coats for my swatch.

Wow!  It feels like forever since I have written such a big blog post.  I am so glad that I finally got the chance to swatch and wear these polishes.  There are some seriously gorgeous polishes in this bunch.  My personal favourites are the multichromes, Flecked Division and LE50.

These polishes are still available (with the exception of LE49 and LE50) from Emily de Molly's Australian Site and International Site.

    1. Australia will happily adopt you. Bring Primark with you! I've just been drooling over your swatches again. We need Primark here.

I'm pretty sure Emily de Molly have a stockist in the UK. But I could be very wrong. I know there is an international site but I am guessing shipping and taxes to you will be really expensive. Fingers crossed you can get them. They really are stunning!
