Uberchic Beauty Collection Twenty One Stamping Plate - Swatches & Review

Wednesday, 22 November 2017

Happy Wednesday everyone!  I hope this week has been treating you well.  It's definitely been quite a busy one for me, but it's been good.  Today, I have the latest stamping plate collection from Uberchic Beauty - Collection Twenty One.  Can you believe that there are twenty one collections already?  It still surprises me each time a new collection comes out.  I still feel like Uberchic only released their first collection last year.  Clearly time just goes way too fast for me to keep up.

This plate isn't a favourite of mine.  There really aren't too many images that jump out at me.  That being said, it's not a bad plate at all.

This first mani you may have already seen as I did this mani for a challenge a few days ago.  For my base I used Emily de Molly Insipid and stamped using Powder Perfect's Black Stamping Polish.

I quite like this next image.  I think it would look great over a variety of different bases.  It has been quite some time since I have done a dry brush mani so I thought why not do one now?  Polishes used are Essie Mixtaupe, Zoya Dory, Kitridge, Liv and Wednesday.

This plate has some great designs on it.  I did have a little trouble deciding on which images to use.  At some point in the near future I really want to use some of the layering images towards the top of the plate.

Sometimes when you are wearing a polish you just look at it and imagine a certain style of stamping over it.  This is what happened to me when I was swatching Emily de Molly's Metamorphic.  This image is exactly the sort that I wanted stamped over it.

This image to me called for a pastel base in multiple colours.  I love how this one turned out.  For my base I used Dance Legend 650, 651, 653 and 656, and stamped using Powder Perfect's White Stamping Polish.

Now this plate has quite a few designs that are more up my alley.

I wanted to go really simple with this first mani.  There was something about it that was saying 'black and white accent nail' so that's what I did.  Polishes used are Essie Apres-chic, Knee-High Life, Color Club's French Tips and Powder Perfect's Black Stamping Polish.

I desperately wanted this image on my nails.  I think it's so pretty.  The first mani I did using it I wasn't happy with it so decided to re do it and I couldn't be happier.  I love the pink and black together.  Base colour is Emily de Molly LE54 and stamped using Powder Perfect's Black Stamping Polish.

There are definitely some great images among these plates, but as a whole I wouldn't say that these are my favourites.  What do you think of this collection?

Collection Twenty One Stamping Plates are available now from Uberchic Beauty.
