Uberchic Beauty Business Chic 02 Stamping Plate - Swatches & Review

OMG!  Get excited people - I have nail done some nail art again!  Yay!  And bonus points for me that this isn't a press sample.  I do realise that lately I have been posting a lot of press samples but honestly my nail time isn't what it use to be and I do prioritise things sent to me over the things I purchase.  Anyway, a couple of months ago I purchased a bunch of plates from Hit The Bottle to help me get back into the swing of doing some nail art.  So I am kicking starting with Uberchic Beauty's Business Chic 02.

One of the things that I have always loved about Uberchic Beauty is their full sized images.  They not only look great with a multicoloured base but they also look amazing just simply stamped over a base colour.  Really I should do more basic stamping when I am time poor.  Anyway, for this mani I used Emily de Molly Ugly Mood and stamped using Hit The Bottle As Black As Night.

  

  

When I first saw Three Hearts Polish Poppin' Pastel Collection I knew that I needed to use them in some nail art and now was the perfect time.  I love how this mani turned out.

  

I love this plate!  The plate is full of really awesome full sized images which I love and I know I will grab for this plate again and again and again.

Uberchic Beauty Business Chic 01 Stamping Plate - Swatches & Review

I'm back with the second new plate from Uberchic Beauty.  *Spoiler alert* I love Business Chic 01 just as much as I love Simply Organic (which if you haven't seen that plate then I recommend checking out my blog post here that I did the other day - serious love for this plate).  These types of plates that are predominately full sized images are always a favourite of mine and Business Chic 01 has some really awesome images on it.

While I think these images would look amazing with some multi coloured backgrounds or some fancy stamping I just can't help but go simple.  I don't know what it is about simple stamping (think like black and white manis) but there is something so magical in the simplicity.  Anyway, for this mani I used Emily de Molly Save Your Boredom (perfect polish for quarantine) and stamped using Hit The Bottle As Black As Night.  I am in love with this mani!  I wished I took more pictures of it in the different lighting so you could see all the colours that it shifts to.

As I mentioned before I think these images would look awesome a multi coloured base so I thought I would do a nice neon gradient.  For my gradient I used China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy and Thistle Do Nicely.

I love this plate.  There are sooooo many awesome images.  I already have some more mani ideas for this plate.   Now just for some extra nail time...

Uberchic Beauty Simply Organic Stamping Plate - Swatches & Review

Uberchic Beauty are back with some new stamping plates.  Spoiler alert - I love them both!  I haven't even started playing with one of them yet but it is definitely right up my alley.  I will have that plate on my blog very, very soon.  Today I have the Simply Organic Stamping Plate to share with you.

This plate has so many awesome designs that I really didn't know where to begin or what to do first.  The images scream gradients, and lots of colour but I thought why not go nice and simple to begin with and let the image do the talking.  For my base I used Emily de Molly Fade Into Black and Powder Perfect Gold Stamping Polish.  I also added Picture Polish G'day Matte just to finish off the look.

I couldn't resist neons with this plate!  For my base I used Emily de Molly Bright Retreat and dry brushed using Orly Glowstick, Beach Cruiser and Skinny Dipping.  Stamping is done with Hit The Bottle As Black As Night.  I didn't add any top coat to this mani because I love how it looked without it.  It's definitely a favourite mani of mine!

I think all of the images on this plate are so cool!  I am beyond excited to keep playing with them.  There are soooooo many different ideas and ways to use this plate.

Uberchic Beauty Spring Kawaii Layers Stamping Plate - Swatches & Review

While other parts of the world as heading into some warmer weather, here in Melbourne our weather is starting to cool down.  Luckily, for me I don't have strict rules about the things I put on my nails and when because I have the new spring plate from Uberchic Beauty - the Spring Kawaii Layers plate.  This plate is full of cute little Spring (and Easter) images that you can layer up like no other.

When I picked up this plate I honestly had no clue where to even begin with it.  My brain struggles with single images so I turned to the weather for my inspiration - grey and cloudy.  For this mani I used Emily de Molly LE171, Hit The Bottle A Flock Of Seagulls and Black As Night, Color Alike B A Sweetheart and Dance Legend Pink Stamping Polish.

This next mani is definitely my favourite that I have done with this plate.  I think it's really cute.  For my base I used OPI Lavendare To Find Courage and stamped using China Glaze Admire (image is from Got Chevron 01) and then stamped the flowers using Maniology E-tronica and Opus One, and Hit The Bottle Black As Night.

Individual images really hurt my brain trying to work out how to use them but I am happy with how my manis turn out using this plate - particularly the flower mani.  I had no issues with how the images picked up and transferred to the nails and I like that the whole plate is all layered designs.  Certainly so much easier to use than making decals.  What do you think of this plate?

Uberchic Beauty Just For Claws Stamping Plate Collection - Swatches & Review

Uberchic are back at it again and have been releasing new product after new product at the moment and I am all for it.  There are some really pretty powders (but I don't have these purely because I am not very good at using powders so figured it would be best for those bloggers who do use so they can do them the justice they deserve, some new stamping polishes and some new plates.  I have the new Just For Claws stamping plates to share with you today and then the new Spring Kawaii plate to share at the later date.  The Just For Claws plates are designed for those with really long nails (or claws if you will).  The full sized images are 20mm wide by 35mm tall - which are massive!  I purposely grew out my nails just to swatch these plates and they are still huge for my nails.

Before jumping into the manis that I have done with these plates I just want to mention a couple of things (it will save me repeating myself for each of these plates).  All of these plates include images from previous collections by Uberchic but in a larger size and they all stamp beautifully.  I didn't have any issues and I love the designs that are on all three of the plates.

This mani is hands down one of my favourite manis that I have done in a very long time.  It was a sad day when I had to take them off but that is the great thing about taking pictures of my nails - the memories will last forever.  Anyway, for this mani I used Powder Perfect Turtle Doves, China Glaze Son Of A Peach and Bottoms Up and stamped using Hit The Bottle Black As Night.

I also love this mani too.  For my base I used Emily de Molly Bright Retreat, and dry brushed using OPI You're So Outta Lime, Pink Friday, I Just Can't Cope-acabana, Sailing & Nail-ing, and You're Such A Budapest.

I gravitated towards this image on this first plate but the mani didn't quite turn out how I had hoped.  Don't get me wrong I still like this mani but I was hoping for some more contrast with the colours.  They just blended too well together.  Polishes used are Candy Coat 198, 232 and 1023 and stamped using Hit The Bottle Black As Night.

This is an accidentally mani and I love it.  I wanted pastel nails (actual pastel - not neon pastel) and had planned on using the floral image over it in white.  Some how I ended up grabbing out a bunch of the pastel pets from Pretty Serious Cosmetics (exact polishes are Little Duckling, Poppet, Dollface, Bunny Foo Foo, Peachie Poo and Bon Bon) and stamped a completely different image in black.  Like I said I love this mani!

I think that this image would look awesome with a multicoloured neon background (putting that idea away for a future mani) but I thought it would be fun to go a bit more simple - multichrome over black.  I love how this mani turned out.  It does shift to more colours but apparently I forgot to photograph it more.  For this mani I used Emily de Molly Fade Into Black and Colour Alike B An Orion.

This is actually the first mani I did with these plates and I am in love with it.  For my base I sponged on Grace-full Nail Polish Mintie, Lilac Vision and Oasis Blue and stamped using Hit The Bottle Black As Night.

I have always been a big fan of the collection plates that Uberchic have released over these years and this collection is no exception.  I haven't had issues in terms of size with the original sized images although when my nails are long I do have to place the images a little more carefully.  The Just For Claws plates means I don't really have to be as careful because it's hard to miss the image on the nails.  There is a good mixture of images from some of the earlier plates as well as some of the newer plates.  I did find it a little odd that a couple of images on these plates have come from 'buffet" images which I would assume they would work for longer nails anyway.  But I love these plates and will definitely keep reaching for them.

Uberchic Beauty Christmas Companion Layers Plate - Swatches & Review

It's unbelievable how close we are to Christmas now..  How is everyone going with their Christmas shopping?  We have finished ours (I think) and just need to wrap a couple of things and then we are all done.  I do need to think of my Christmas nails.  I really have no clue what I am going to wear.  Let me know if you have any suggestions.  While I haven't decided on what I am wearing Christmas day yet I have been playing with some Christmas designs with the new Uberchic Christmas Companion Layers stamping plate.

I was actually swatching this gorgeous green polish (coming soon from Emily de Molly) and one of the mums at school said it is perfect for Christmas.  Of course it is but plain green isn't Christmas so it needed some nail art - bauble nail art.  Stamping polishes are both from Hit The Bottle - Drop Red Gorgeous and Calypso Gold.

It's kinda funny, I sat down with a bunch of pink polishes and then some where along the lines switched to nude and gold and I am so glad I did.  I love how simple but pretty this mani is.  Polishes used are China Glaze Bourgeois Beige and Hit The Bottle Beyond The Greige and Calypso Gold.

I absolutely love that Uberchic have created this plate.  I'm not one to make decals (usually because I don't plan ahead too much for manis) so this makes for easy layered manis.  I also really like that they have clearly labeled which image belongs to what plate.  I'm going to have so much fun playing with this plate.

Uberchic Beauty Jingle All The Way Stamping Plate - Swatches & Review

I'm so excited for today's post.  Not only because I have finally had the chance to do some nail art (it has been forever!) but I also managed to get my hands on two of the new Christmas plates from Uberchic Beauty.  Brittany did send me the three plates, however the package has gone MIA in the US somewhere so I purchased the two plates that I liked (the third plate is nice but it is full of individual images which aren't my thing so skipped over that one).  Anyway, today I have the Jingle All The Way stamping plate to share with you.

I couldn't resist the snow covered trees.  Yes they don't make sense for me to wear in Summer but I just love the idea of them.  This mani is definitely pretty in person than in my picture because you can see the shimmer in the base.   For my base I used Essie Bell-Bottom Blues and stamped using Maniology's Amnato Clay and Hit The Bottle Snowed In.

Now this mani is definitely my favourite of the two that I have done with this plate.  It is such a fun mani to wear.  I would definitely sign up to be an official cookie tester....mmmm cookies!  I'm getting side tracked here.  For this mani I used OPI Mod About You (I love this polish!) and stamped using Hit The Bottle From Beyond The Greige and an unlabelled goldish polish.  

I'm a big fan of this plate.  I definitely want to get a little more use out of it this festive season.

Uberchic Beauty Halloween 05 Stamping Plate - Swatches & Review

Halloween is fast approaching which reminds me that I need to find our Halloween decorations.  I promised our daughter that we would do Halloween decorations this year.  The only Halloween things I know where they are are my Halloween stamping plates.  Both old ones and the brand new one from Uberchic Beauty - Halloween 05 which I will be sharing with you today.

I absolutely love this cauldron layered image!  It's so cute!  I can see me reaching for it a lot throughout October/Halloween.  Anyway, for my base I used Emily de Molly Half Orange and stamped using Emily de Molly's black creme polish (the name is escaping me right now) and Hit The Bottle's Ectoplasm Green.

Technically this next mani I have done is actually the third mani I have done using this plate.  I have also done a mani using the bat image but it's with a polish that hasn't been released yet so you will need to check out my Instagram page in a week or so to see that one.  Anyway, I'm always drawn to skull images.  I thought for something different I would go for coloured skulls!  For my base I randomly sponged on Picture Polish Mad Magenta, Swagger, Totes, Chillax and Candy and stamped using the Emily de Molly black creme.  While I loved the glossy version of the mani I couldn't resist using Picture Polish G'day Matte top coat.

I love this Halloween plate!  There are so many great images on this plate and they stamp perfectly!  Now that I have some Halloween manis done I need to find some Halloween decorations.... Are you Halloween ready?

Uberchic Beauty Lovely Leaves 04 Stamping Plate - Swatches & Review

It's officially the last day of term 3 which means school holidays!  Woohoo!  I'm excited for these holidays.  Not that we have anything planned in particular but more that I get to spend some time with my girl and hopefully get to enjoy some nice Spring weather!  Anyway, while we are having Spring there are other parts of the world that are heading into Autumn/Fall which means the leaves are changing colours and starting to fall.  To help celebrate this Uberchic Beauty have released their fourth Lovely Leaves Stamping Plates.

When I was swatching the new Grace-full Nail Polish collection I thought that Goblin Gold made the perfect base for some fall nails.  It has the green and then shifts to a gold colour a little like how the leaves do in Autumn.  I may have gone a little overboard with the pictures for this mani but I was trying to capture the shifts.  Besides it's a really pretty mani so why not?

I fell in love with this falling leaves image.  I think it would look so pretty in different colours but I went for something a little more 'neutral'.  For my base I used OPI Be There In A Prosecco and stamped using Hit The Bottle's Oh Look It's Wine Thirty and Roseglow Gold.

I really like this plate (despite it really being the wrong time of year for me).  I really wanted to use that cute little fox but I couldn't work out what exactly I wanted.  I'll definitely have to check out the new Uberchic app for some inspiration.  Anyway, I had no troubles with how the images stamped on this plate.  I look forward to playing with it some more.

Uberchic Beauty Hello Fall & Pumpkin Spice Mini Stamping Plate - Swatches & Review

I have been blogging for a few years now and have been posting manis on Instagram for many, many years now so you would think by now I would remember that I need to edit pictures.  Apparently, I have been doing manis and have forgotten to edit them.  Oops.  I think this whole moving house has thrown my usual routines out of whack.  Bare with me though, I'm sure I will get back to some sort of regular blogging schedule.  Anyway, today I have the new Hello Fall & Pumpkin Spice Mini Stamping Plate from Uberchic Beauty to share with you.

For those of you who may not know, I live in Australia and we have are currently in Spring!  Although I think Melbourne may still be a little confused because it's still quite cold at the moment.  Hopefully we will start getting some more warmer temperatures and sunshine soon.  So for my first mani with this plate I was a little cheeky and did a Spring mani instead.  For this mani I used Pretty Serious Cosmetics Little Duckling, Fluffykins and Cutie Patootie for my base and stamped using Hit The Bottle Snowed In.  The floral image is from Uberchic 5-03.

I couldn't have a Fall plate and not do a fall inspired mani could I?  For this mani I used Grace-full Nail Polish Blood Countess and stamped using Powder Perfect's Gold Stamping Polish.

I'm not really a fan of this plate - but that is completely a personal preference.  I'm not a fan of individual images (my brain struggles to make them work).

Uberchic Beauty Football Is Life Mini Stamping Plate - Swatches & Review

Look at me!  Two blog posts back to back!  Who would have thought.  It's been quite some time since I have done daily blogging but with the moving house I am definitely a little behind.  Or at least I feel like I am.  Anyway, have you seen that Uberchic have released some new goodies including new plates?  Unfortunately I don't have the new polishes to share (but they look gorgeous so definitely worth checking out) but I do have the four new stamping plates which I will be sharing with you over the next couple of weeks.  Starting with the Football Is Life Mini Stamping Plate.

I think if there was more glitter involved in football I may have a little more interest in it.  For this first mani I used China Glaze This Is Tree-mendous over OPI I'm So Swamped and stamped using Hit The Bottle's Snowed In.

This next image is easily my favourite from this plate.  I love that is looks like flowers but they are actually footballs.  So cute!  For my base I used Pretty Serious Cosmetics Pastel Pets Collection and stamped using Hit The Bottle's Snowed In.

This plate really isn't my cup of tea but that's because I don't care about football.  If you are a football fan then I can see that this would be a great plate to have in your collection.

Uberchic Beauty Nice & Negative Stamping Plate - Swatches & Review

Happy Friday everyone! I don’t know about you guys but I am very much looking forward to the weekend.  Anyway, today I have my favourite of the two new Uberchic plates to share with you - the Nice & Negative stamping plate.  I’ve always been a massive fan of negative space images (you can have so much fun with your bases - and bonus points for when you make a slight error in the base because the image usually covers it) so this plate is right up my alley!

When I sat down to start swatching this plate I honestly didn't know where to start.  There are sooooooo many amazing images and the ideas just started coming.  First up I thought I would go for something simple (mainly because I had new polishes to play with and have been dying to put this colour combination on my nails).  For my base I used Emily de Molly LE167 and All The Feelings 2.0 and stamped using Powder Perfect's Black Stamping Polish.

Now it really isn't a negative space mani without a multi coloured base is it?   I went for my go to sponged backgrounds (oh how I love these!) using the Pretty Serious Cosmetics Pastel Pets Collection (the first ones - they are the best).

I'm sure at this point in this post you will be able to tell that I love this stamping plate.  Really there are only so many things that I can say.  If you love negative space images then I highly recommend this one.  The images are just sooooo good.  I am excited to play with this plate some more.
