31DC2018 Yellow Nails

Monday, 3 September 2018

I have been doing various nail art challenges for many, many years now.  In fact, if you have been following me on Instagram for a while then you will have seen that I am no stranger to doing multiple challenges at a time.  One thing that I learnt from doing so many challenges at the same time is how to cheat.  Why am I mentioning this?  Well today I have cheated.  The mani I have for you today is a mani that I actually wore last month for one of my daughter's gymnastics competitions.  I never got around to posting it but I think it's a really pretty mani that needs to be shared.  So here it is!

For my base I used Color Club's Smashing Review (from the Halo Crush Collection) and stamped using Powder Perfect's Black Stamping Polish.  Image is from Uberchic 6-01.

I know this mani is gold, but it's a yellow gold so it still counts, right?

    1. Thank you! I think the 31 day challenge is all about cheating. It's the only way to survive lol

  2. Cheating nail art is the best nail art! How else you supposed to survive? And yes yellow gold totally counts. Especially if it's holo.

    1. LOL. Cheating is the only way to survive...although I am sure there will be many others that disagree with that

  3. Love this one! I need that gold Halo - one I don't have. Totally counts as yellow!

Also I tend to consider it less 'cheating' and more being 'smart & crafty' 😉 If I didn't double (even triple) up on challenges, I'd get nothing done haha!

    1. Thank you! I think it counts as yellow. It's probably more that it's not a new mani and its one that I wore last month why I think it's cheating.

Good on you for doubling and tripling up on the challenges. I use to do that a few years ago and it was a lot of fun....challenging but fun! Good luck with all your challenges x
