The Digit-al Dozen: Get To Know Me: Day Two

Tuesday 11 April 2017

I'm continuing on my post about family from yesterday, but today I will be talking about Miss Olivia.  I am sure many of you may know that I am not Olivia, but I can understand that there is some confusion around the name.  I do get called Olivia a lot online.  For those of you who don't know my name is Tracy and my daughter's name is Olivia.

Why is my blog and social media pages under my daughter's name?  Well that really is quite simple.  When I first started really getting into nails I discovered the world of Pinterest and signed up under my name.  I then found blogs, which then lead to Facebook groups and those Facebook groups lead into Instagram.  I was so late to Instagram that all of the usernames that I would use were already gone.  I then tried variations of Olivia until it accepted @oliviajade19.  At the time of signing up to Instagram I had zero intentions of ever posting anything and then....well you guys know the rest of that story.

Now to explain the mani.  Miss Olivia's favourite colours at the moment are pink, yellow and blue.  She is currently very excited that Easter is nearly here so I figured that a dotticure was a great idea.  For my base I used China Glaze Blanc Out and dotted Belle Of A Baller, Casual Friday and Chalk Me Up!

  1. Such a cute mani & very Easter esque! I already knew that bit about your name but love reading a few facts about you. Can't wait for the rest of this series.

    1. Thanks Vicky. I think because I have been around for a little while now that I assume that people know me, but then really these is only so much you can know vs what you think you know. I remember meeting a girl and she apologized for "fan girling" and then after an hour she laughed at herself and told me that she loved how normal I am. I'm really not sure what she must have thought I was like lol.

  2. So cute! I did wonder the story of using your daughters name! Now I know. I love that your fingers look like those little robin egg Easter candies!

    1. Thanks Amanda. I think I have mentioned it a couple of times on IG but that was probably a few years ago. It's definitely not something that I expect everyone to know.

    1. Well now you know :) She did love them and said she wanted her nails like that. She isn't the most patient person so getting her to sit just to have the base colour done is about all we can manage before she has had enough.
