Nail Crazies Unite: Hippy/Boho

Friday, 7 April 2017

I have had quite a big run of doing plain swatches lately (I think I did something crazy like 50 swatches last week alone) and minimal nail art.  Now I have a big line up of nail art posts, starting with today's Nail Crazies Unite.  The theme is hippy/boho.  I really wasn't sure what to do for this so I googled boho nail art for some ideas and saw that there were a few dream catcher manis.  I have done one dream catcher mani before which I absolutely love so I thought I would re do it but with different colours.  Sadly, it didn't work out the greatest (clearly I am out of practice with nail art - and definitely with reverse stamping).

For my base I used China Glaze All Glammed Up (from the new Summer Reign Collection - I am swatching my way through this collection slowly and will have a blog post with them soon), I stamped using Powder Perfect's Black Stamping Polish and then filled in the feathers using Pretty Serious Cosmetics Fluffykins, Little Duckling and Peachie Poo.  Stamping design is from Bundle Monster BM-407.

Here is a look at the upcoming themes for Nail Crazies Unite:

Don't forget to check out the others who are doing this challenge.  I am excited to see what everyone else comes up with for this theme.

  1. This is so striking and I love the turquoise base. As far as I'm concerned it looks amazing!
Also - 50 swatches in a week?? Wow! Tracy, if you have a time turner please can I borrow it? I have so much to do this week.

    1. Thank you Vicky. I love that base polish too! I have a feeling that it will be in my favourites at the end of the month.

As for a time turner I would love one! And if I had one you could definitely borrow it. How amazing would it be to have extra nail time everyday?
