The Digit-al Does Vampy: Day Four Texture

Thursday, 13 October 2016

I'm not going to lie but I think this mani that I have for you today is probably my favorite of the five that I have done for this month's Digit-al Dozen.  It probably is a toss up between today's and tomorrow's mani.

For today's mani I wanted to keep it simple but make it a little different.  First I thought gradient (simple) but to give it something a little different I added a texture accent nail!  I absolutely love the matte version of this mani more so than the shiny.  Matte vampy nails are awesome!  Polishes used are Essie In The Lobby, Pretty Serious Cosmetics Absence and OPI Stay The Night.

Which mani do you prefer - matte or shiny?  I do really like the matte, especially with a textured accent nail.  I have a feeling we may all be seeing me doing various colour combinations with matte gradients and texture accents.

Have you been following the other talented ladies that are participating in the Digit-al Dozen this month.  There are some seriously amazing manis.  Check them all out below.

  1. NIIICCCEEE!!! Matte for the win! I've gone matte today too, and half matte tomorrow. There is something about matte that just fits this prompt.

    1. Thanks Cathy. I've gone matte for my last mani too. There is definitely something about dark polishes and matte that just really works together. I actually quite like it.

  3. I think I love matte better because it plays off nicely with the texture. Love the gradient!
