Powder Perfect Egypt 1 Stamping Plate - Swatches & Review

Wednesday, 26 October 2016

Today I have the last of the three stamping plates that Powder Perfect have recently released.  I am such a huge fan of these plates.  Not only are they unique, they are a good quality and they stamp beautifully.  I have had no issues what so ever (well unless you count me not lining up images properly on my nails but that is 100% my fault and not the plates) with these plates.

This plate is the same size as the Halloween and Art Deco plates (14.5cm by 9.5cm) and features a mix of sizes in the designs.  This plate was made in collaboration with Hannah Tometzki (or Polly Polish as you may know her as).

For my swatches I went for the full sized images on this plate, mainly because they are my favorite (or go to) types of images.  They are easy to work with and don't require as much precision as other images.  That being said I do quite like some of the images at the very top of this plate.  I can seem some neon manis with black stamping happening with those in the future.  For my first mani I wanted to "revisit" a failed mani that I attempted and I am so happy I did.  I think the polishes work so well together.  For this mani I used Powder Perfect's I Can't Sleep, Whataboutery, Bermuda and their Black Stamping Polish.

I couldn't not include a pastel gradient.  No reason why other than because I wanted to.  I seriously love this mani!

Now I was going to say that this plate has sold out on the Australian site at the moment, however it appears that the Australian site is temporarily closed until November.  That being said I am sure it will be back in no time at all so I have included links to both site's below.

This plate is available now from Powder Perfect's Australian site and from their International site.  If you use the code NAILSTAMP you will receive 10% off all stamping polishes, stamping plates and accessories.  The code is valid until January 31 2017.
I'm curious to know which of the new Powder Perfect Stamping Plates do you like the most?

    1. Thanks Vicky. It's funny you should say that. I actually did a little stash list for my plates the other day and apparently I have over 800 plates. I would have never guessed that at all. One of these days I'll get around to using all of my plates.

    3. I'd never throw tomatoes at you! I can completely understand loving plates more than polish. I'm not sure which I love more. I think I am addicted to both. I really want to try more stamping brands. You'll have to let me know of some brands you like.

    4. I probably love Uberchic the best but I am very fond MoYou London because each plate is themed and it's easier to find what I am looking for, plus they have smaller images for smaller nails. Then there is Bundlemonster with their cute and unique images. Born Pretty prices just can't be beat. I also have Pueen, Apiplia, and DRK nails plates.

    5. I'm a HUGE fan of Uberchic plates too! I have just tried out some new plates from Lina Nail Art Supplies and I can see that they are also going to become a favorite of mine. Love BM and Pueen too. They are in my most used plates. I'm not a huge fan of MoYou London plates. Their image sizes don't quite work for my nails. The regular size are usually too small and the XLs are too big. Born Pretty have some awesome plates. I really should use mine more often. I've never tried Apiplia before. I'll have to add them to my list of things to try :)

  2. I like this gradient and how it looks on your nails. I want to do the same design on round nails ( like http://nailartstyle.com/top-35-round-acrylic-nails ). I am sure it would be looking great and i hope to see some new ideas from you.

    1. That design would look awesome on rounded nails too! If you do a similar mani you should definitely tag me (either on IG or FB) so I can check them out :)
