For the last couple of years I have spoken about swatching all of my untried polishes. In fact, I would love to one day have all of the polishes I own on my blog but that is one mammoth task! To ease into the whole untried world I started to set myself the goals of swatching everything I purchase within that particular year. So far I can say that I have no untried polishes from the last three years (I think) but that doesn't help me with the rest of the untrieds in my collection. I stumbled across Fab U Nails #101untrieds and I thought that it would be the perfect challenge for me to break out some of my untrieds. I am aiming to use 101 untrieds by the end of the year (eek!) so wish me luck. These are in no particular order and each of these posts won't have any particular number of polishes in them.

China Glaze Trendsetter is a medium mustard yellow/green creme with yellow glass flecks. This polish was released as part of the Metro Collection back in 2011. I didn't actually buy this when it was first released because it really isn't my sort of colour, but I saw that Bec (Nail Gun XS) used it as her base for an indie polish (which you will see in a minute) and I had to buy it. The formula is good and applies evenly. You can stop at two coats, however I used three coats for my swatch. It was just a little bit see through at the tips for my personal liking.

Color Club Cloud Nine is a light purple holographic polish from the first Halo Hues Collection released in 2012. Slight disclaimer: this polish isn't technically untried but it's never been on my blog so I am totally counting it as an untried for today. Anyway, Cloud Nine was one of the very first Color Club polishes I owned and feel in love. It's so gorgeous and applies evenly. It is a little on the sheer side so I used three coats for my swatch.

Femme Fatale Cosmetics Jadefire is a chartreuse green shimmery base with a mix of red, pink, holo lime green and hints of yellow glitter. This polish was released back in 2013, which was a time when I use to buy ALL of the Femme Fatale Cosmetics - literally. Jadefire is the polish that made me buy China Glaze Trendsetter. These polishes really do work so well together and I quite like the combination for something unique. The formula is easy enough to use, although some of the larger glitters like to stick together a little. For my swatch I used two coats over China Glaze Trendsetter.

Grace-full Nail Polish Unnamed Grey is a really light grey creme. This polish along with the next one I am about to share with you were never actually released by Grace-full Nail Polish. Theresa made them over Christmas to do some nail art with them. I fell in love with them and Theresa kindly sent them to me. I really love this colour. I think it is great on it's own and is perfect for nail art. I used two thick coats for my swatch.

Grace-full Nail Polish Unnamed Mint Green is a mint green creme. Again, this is a polish that Theresa made for personal use which she kindly sent me. I love the colour and the formula is great. My swatch shows two coats.

Maybelline Beaming Blue is a bright mid blue polish with blue hexes and heavy gold shimmer. This polish was released back in 2014 as part of the Brocades Collection. This is one of those polishes that I really am not sure if I have used or not. I think I have worn the other polish I have from this collection but not this one. I have way too many pictures on my IG page to scroll through to work out if I have worn it or not. Anyway, this is so sparkly and pretty! It is quite sheer but does apply evenly. I would definitely wear a base coat with this one next time. My swatch shows three coats.

Revlon Spanish Moss is a moss green creme. This polish is what I would class as semi untried. I have never swatched it or worn it as a full mani before, however I have used it on two nails for a comparison with an Essie. I really like this colour! It would be awesome in the cooler months. The formula is great and applies evenly. I used two coats for my swatch.

Zoya Carter is a royal purple with a strong magenta sparkle, and has a matte and textured finish. This polish is gorgeous! I love the sparkle and the texture. It applies evenly and is a little one the sheer side on the first coat. It did build up nicely on the second coat, which is what I used for my swatch.

That brings me to the end of this first untrieds post. I have to say it is actually really fun digging through my polish drawers and rediscovering some of the forgotten about pretties.
