Happy Wednesday everyone! We are officially half way through this week's Digit-al Dozen Does Marble. I'm really running out of ideas when it comes to marble to be honest, but only two more manis to do after today so I'm sure I can manage to get through. I do love today's mani though. I am pretty sure that this mani will be going into my favourites at the end of this month.
I am seriously obsessed with matte bases and metallic stamping. I have done it once before today and I think it may just become my new thing that I do this year. So be prepared to see it a lot from me. For my base I used Pretty Serious Cosmetics Absence, which I mattified using Picture Polish's G'Day Matte and stamped using China Glaze I'd Melt For You. Image is from Dixie Nails Marbled 01.
Is it wrong to skip the last two days of the Digit-al Dozen Does Marble so I can keep this mani on? Here's hoping I love tomorrow's mani just as much as today's.
I'm always so impressed with what you can achieve with stamping. This is so beautiful. Do you top coat over the metallic with another coat of matte?
ReplyDeleteThanks Cathy. I only used the matte top coat over the black and no top coat over the stamping.
