Grace-full Nail Polish A Day At The Beach Collection - Swatches & Review

Wednesday, 4 April 2018

I can't even begin to tell you how excited I am to be able to finally share my swatches of Grace-full Nail Polish's upcoming A Day At The Beach Collection.  You may have seen lots of teasers for this collection in the Facebook group - but I can tell you that I have had this collection for even longer.  I actually swatched this collection not long after I swatched the Illusions Collection - it was definitely before I swatched the cremes.  My point is I have been holding onto these swatches forever!!  So before I actually burst, let's take a look at the pretties.

Nautica is a turquoise sea blue linear holo.  This is a really pretty colour (and perfect for an ocean mani) and the formula is amazing.  You could easily get away with one coat.  My swatch shows two coats.

Opals Are Blue is a hot pink polish with a strong blue flash.  I loooooooooove this one!  I am obsessed with the colour.  This polish was the first one that I wore from this collection.  This is one of those polishes that are so much prettier in person - the blue flash really stands out more.  It's a little camera shy I think.  The formula is a little on the thick side but it is easy to work with.  My swatch shows two coats.

Polka Dot Bikini is a yellow to chartreuse subtle holo with shimmer and micro glitter.  This is super bright!!  Huge fan.  The formula is easy to use.  I did two coats for my swatch but question if I should have done a third or not.

Scorcher is a bright orange-red with gold shimmer.  This is summer in a bottle.  The formula is great and easy to use.  I used two coats, but again questioned a third (it borders into being a little sheer at the tips in direct light).

Sprinkler Run is a bright lime green with subtle holo and shimmer.  Now this polish is so bright it freaks the camera out so my swatches aren't 100% accurate.  This is a really cool colour though and the formula is great.  My swatch shows two coats.

Zooper Dooper is a bright violet purple linear holo.  Love this one!  The colour is stunner and the formula is perfection.  You can easily get away with one coat.  I used two coats for my swatch.

It will come as no surprise when I say that I love this collection.  I mean, look at all those bright colours!  Stunning!  The only polish I don't consider a favourite is Scorcher and that is purely because I am not a red polish girl.  If I had to pick my top two favourites it would hands down be Opals Are Blue and Zooper Dooper.

The A Day At The Beach Collection will be available from Grace-full's Australian site on 6th April at 8pm AEST and the international site on 6th April at 5am EDT.

  1. Ah I love me some bright colours! The only 2 I could get away with from this collection are Nautica & Zooper Dooper (man that name is bringing back some childhood memories haha). Luckily for me, they're the 2 I really like.
