26 Great Nail Art Ideas: Black & Neon

Friday 2 February 2018

It's 26 Great Nail Art Ideas time again!  It feels like forever since I have done nail, but really it hasn't been that long.  I have just been busy swatching or doing basic stamping (plain base colour with a single stamp).  Today's theme is a very exciting one for me.  If you know me then you know that my go to nail art is neon polishes with black stamping - and today's theme just so happens to be black and neon.  Woohoo!

For my base I sponged on Orly Glowstick (my favourite neon yellow), Scenic Route, Beach Cruiser, Vintage and Push The Limit.  Stamping is done using Hit The Bottle Black As Night and Uberchic 21-01.

In case you are interested in joining this challenge and you haven't seen the themes...

I am so excited to see what everyone does for today's theme.  I am sure I will find lots of nail inspiration.

  1. Hi Tracy, I just discovered your page and I must say I enjoy so so much! Thank you :). Can you please reveal your secret of the base coat that you use - you nails look AMAZING!
    Take care,

    1. Thank you so much Evelina. Currently I am using Grace-full Nail Polish's base coat. It applies nicely and dries pretty quick. I am very lucky that I have naturally long and thick nails so I don't need any strengtheners or anything like that. In fact, I actually find if I use strengtheners my nails become really brittle and break more easily. Hopefully that answers your question :)

    2. Now that I have answered that I have a feeling that you aren't talking about my "base coat" but more asking how I did the colours. If that is that case, I have a tutorial :)
