Lina Nail Art Supplies Feeling Shapely 03 Stamping Plate - Swatches & Review

Saturday 5 August 2017

I can't believe how long it has taken me to get around to finishing this post.  I originally began swatching Lina Nail Art Supplies Feeling Shapely 03 back in March.  For one reason or another it was one of the posts that kept getting bumped for something else, and then it fell off my radar completely.  Until now!  I was looking at my blog planner the other day and saw that I had scheduled to do Feeling Shapely 09, and then it hit me that I still hadn't finished doing Feeling Shapely 03.  But now I am catching up.

For this first mani I used Powder Perfect's Elysium and stamped using their Black Stamping Polish.  I love how simple this image is.

Now this next mani I absolutely love!!  If you saw yesterday's post then you will have seen the base before the stamping.  I had originally planned to stamp firework images over it, however I decided against that because I loved the base.  Anyway, I couldn't leave it like that forever, so I stamped using Feeling Shapely 03.  Polishes used are China Glaze Too Yacht To Handle, Highlight Of My Summer, Bottoms Up, That's Shore Bright, Sun Of A Peach and Daisy Know My Name?  Stamping polish is from Powder Perfect.

I really like this stamping plate.  I think the images are so simple yet so cool.  You can keep your manis really basic or do a really fancy background.  I can see me getting a lot of use out of this plate. This plate does have a few minor flaws on it which is a little sad, but I am sure I can work around it. Have you picked up any of the Feeling Shapely stamping plates?

The Feeling Shapely 03 Stamping Plate is available now from Lina Nail Art Supplies.

  1. Could you please elaborate on the 'minor flaws'? I want to get this plate very much and it would be helpful to know what difficulty i might run into.

    1. Sorry I should have gone into a bit more detail. The flaws in my plate are things like scratches and minor dents which pick up on a stamper. I assume it happened when they were printed. I have had a few plates like this from Lina especially the earlier plates but I think that was because they have been trying to push out too many plates to meet their demand and the quality got lost. I haven't had any issues recently. If you do get any plates, be sure to check them when they arrive and contact customer service. I didn't check mine so it's a bit late to contact them now. Lesson learnt.

    2. Thank you so much for answering my question. I also want the dress 01 plate and heard that may be not as deeply etched. I really love the 4 i have because they were good quality and different from so much out there. They are on the pricey end so i expect good quality. i just subbed on instagram.

    3. No problems. I'm always happy to answer any questions if I can.

Which dress plate? I am having a mental blank. I feel like I have it but past that point I can't recall anything. Not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing. lol

    5. Oh yes. I know the one. I did have that plate. I didn't have any issues with mine. Maybe there was a dodgy batch that came out?
