Welcome to the start of what is going to be a dark, dark week! This week is definitely something a long way from my usual light and bright manis, but when you do a nail art challenge you really do step away from your usual manis. For the next five days I will have five all black manis for The Digit-al Dozen. Today's mani I have a bit of a mixed bag of a mani. There is some textures and sheer polishes plus matte.
For this mani I used Pretty Serious Cosmetics Absence (which is nearly completely empty ahhh!), OPI Emotions (the textured polish), Emily de Molly's Black Sheer Tint (this was originally a custom but I am pretty sure she sells it now) and Powder Perfect's Black Stamping Polish. The stamping design is from Pueen Cosmetics Halloween Party 01 stamping plate.
I am so excited to see what the other girls have come up with for their first mani.
I love the spider web, so creative.
ReplyDeleteThanks Christy. I really like that nail!
DeleteThis is an awesome skittlette! Love the spiderweb most ;) And yes, matte! I'm posting something matte this week as well, some manicures must be mattified!
ReplyDeleteThanks Lothwen. I agree, some manis NEED to be matte. I think the matte of this mani is my favourite! I can't wait to see what else you do this week
DeleteOoh this is so gothic and I love it matte - it really adds to the overall finish. I'm also a big fan of matte manis, there is little a matte topcoat doesn't improve!

Thanks Vicky. I love the matte too. And you are right. It's very gothic. I am thinking I'll have to recreate them when it's Halloween
DeleteI love the mixture of everything going on here. It works so well together.
ReplyDeleteThanks Amy. I really like how this mani turned out
DeleteAwesome! Kudos to you for doing all black!
ReplyDeleteThank you. I took the meaning of this month's challenge to mean using all black so I have stuck with that for this week. Based on everyone else's mani I think I may be the only one who interrupted it that way lol
