Grace-full Nail Polish Fruit Salad Collection - Swatches & Review

Thursday 6 July 2017

I am really getting through my giant "to swatch" list (you can see it in my Mid Year Reflections posts here) this week.  So far I have managed to tick off the China Glaze My Little Pony Collection and one of the many Lina Nail Art Supplies Stamping Plates.  Today I can tick off a third thing - the Grace-full Nail Polish Fruit Salad Collection.  These were the first things that I picked up at Aussie Indie Con and boy oh boy they do not disappoint.  I have seen that they watermarble and I really want to try for myself...maybe.  Watermarbling still scares me.  Swatching on the other hand, I am comfortable with.  So let's take a look shall we?

Apple is a mid green creme.  I am not sure I am a fan of this polish as a full nail (I'm not a green nail polish fan), however I think this is an awesome green for nail art.  The formula is fantastic and it is opaque in two coats.

Blueberry is a mid soft blue creme.  I am obsessed with this colour.  It's absolutely stunning and really eye catching.  The formula is great and is opaque in two coats.

Grape is a mid purple creme.  Love this one as well.  It is perfect for me.  The formula is amazing and is opaque in one coat.  That's right, one coat!  That's all I used in my swatch.

Lemon is a yellow creme.  This is such a fantastic colour.  While it is easy to use, it does apply unevenly and needs three coats to even out.

Mango is a mid orange creme.  I quite like the colour of this one too.  It does apply a little unevenly on the first coat, however it evens out on the second coat.

Raspberry is a red/pink creme.  I kinda like this for a red shade (if you know me you will already know that I don't particularly like red creme polishes).  The formula is great and it is opaque in two coats.

Strawberry is a pink creme.  This is definitely more my kind of shade than the red.  Just to be extra picky though I wish that this was maybe a few shades lighter or maybe more blue toned as I find it a bit too close to Raspberry.  They definitely aren't dupes though.  The formula is great and opaque in two coats.

Overall I love the Fruit Salad Collection.  While I probably won't wear all the colours as a full nail I think this collection is perfect for nail art!  My personal favourites are definitely Blueberry and Grape.

The Fruit Salad Collection is available now from Grace-full Nail Polish's Australia site and their international site.

  1. I also love Blueberry, that colour is gorgeous. I'd totally wear all these colours as full manis. They're amazing! Can't wait to see all your other swatch posts! Well done for getting through your pile.

    1. It's such a gorgeous blue that one! I could wear it over and over.

Thank you! It's going to take me a bit to get through everything (I have some more swatching stuff coming) but it's nice to watch the racks getting smaller and smaller.
