Crumpet's Nail Tarts: 26 Great Nail Art Ideas Challenge: Black Base

Friday, 11 November 2016

Today I have a nice little post for you all.  It's time for another installment of the 26 Great Nail Art Ideas Challenge.  Today's theme is black base.  Seriously there are sooooooo many different things you can do for this theme.  I had originally planned to do a shattered glass mani but once I got my black base down I just didn't feel like it.  Read that as I couldn't be bothered cutting up all the little things and then sticking them to my nails.  Lazy much?  Instead I thought it would be fun to break out some nail foils again.  I have a bunch of them that I struggle to use but I really want to use them!  So I thought a dry brush version of foils could be a great idea so that is what I did.

For this mani I used Pretty Serious Cosmetics Absence and then Wildberry Flash nail foil from Dollar Nail Art.

I love how this mani turned out.  I really should keep playing with foils more often.

In case you are interested in what it coming up next for this challenge here are the themes.

    1. Thanks Christy. I can never get foils to work for me. I have more failed manis than success so I give up on them a lot. I really should practice more.

    1. Thanks Sara. I'm a fan of it because it doesn't need to be perfect :)
