Color Club Whatever Forever Collection - Comparisons

If you may not be aware I am a huge fan of neon polishes.  I also really love pastel polishes.  If you put the two together then you just know that I am going to fall in love and that is exactly what I did with the new Color Club Whatever Forever Collection.  I swatched and reviewed this collection here if  you missed and I thought it would be good to put together some comparisons.  Before we jump in I will point out that because these polishes are so bright they do freak my camera out so it does make some of the polishes look closer in colour than what they appear in person.  I have done my best to make sure they are accurate as possible.

Color Club Anything But Basic vs Color Club Under The Blacklight vs China Glaze Grass Is Lime Greener

There are no dupes between these polishes.  The China Glaze polish is the closest in colour, however it is not as bright and is a deeper colour.  Of the three polishes Anything But Basic has the best formula.  It applies evenly and is opaque in two coats.  The other two polishes apply unevenly and need three coats.

Again, no dupes here.  Dollface is more blue toned, and Cutie Patootie is a lot darker and dull looking in comparison.  In terms of formula, they are all great and all opaque in two coats.
   

Color Club First Class Sass vs Color Club Hot-Hot-Hot Pants vs Pretty Serious Cosmetics Peachie Poo

Clearly no dupes here.  Formula wise First Class Sass and Peachie Poo are similar, and Hot-Hot-Hot Pants is the worst.  I did use three coats for all polishes, although I should have used a fourth coat for Hot-Hot-Hot Pants.  Doing this comparison in particular reminded me why I don't use the original Color Club Neon Pastels much.
   

Color Club Girl Gang vs Color Club Diggin' The Dancing Queen vs Pretty Serious Cosmetics Poppet

There are no dupes here but Poppet is pretty close in colour - Poppet is slighter darker in colour and has a slightly different tone to it.
     

Color Club I'm Outta Here vs Pretty Serious Cosmetics Bunny Foo Foo vs China Glaze Too Yacht To Handle

No dupes between these three either.  Bunny Foo Foo is a much lighter colour and Too Yacht To Handle is darker.  It's hard to tell with my picture but the difference is obvious in person.  I used two coats for I'm Outta Here and Bunny Foo Foo and three coats for Too Yacht To Handle.

These aren't exact dupes but they are soooo similar that it's probably not worth having both.  The formulas are both great and are opaque in two coats.

Color Club Like A Boss vs Pretty Serious Cosmetics Little Duckling
No dupes here.  Little Duckling is lighter and not as bright.  Formula wise Like A Boss is better.

Color Club Talk To The Hand vs China Glaze Sun Of A Peach
No dupes with these polishes, but this is one that you may not need both of.  Formula wise Talk To The Hand is better - it applies evenly and is opaque in two coats, where Sun Of A Peach is a little patchy and needs three coats.

Color Club Totally Worth It vs Color Club Feathered Hair Out To There vs Pretty Serious Cosmetics Fluffykins
Again, no dupes.  Fluffykins is the brightest of these three and has the best formula (it's opaque in two coats).  Totally Worth It and Feathered Hair are both three coats.

That wraps up my comparisons.  I honestly love the Color Club Whatever Forever Collection and think that if you love bright polishes then it is definitely worth grabbing, as there aren't any exact dupes.

Color Club Whatever Forever Collection - Swatches & Review

Every now and again there is a new collection promo that pops up that automatically has to go on my needs list.  That is exactly what happened when I saw the new Color Club Whatever Forever Collection.  I stalked my usual places that I purchase Color Club from however no one seemed to have them (although they do now) but luckily for me Color Club had a 40% off sale AND they now ship internationally so I grabbed them.  Side note: Color Club have a great customer service.  One of the polishes leaked in transit and they have sent me a replacement.  It should arrive today.  Woohoo!  That being said I did swatch the leaked polish but I am not 100% sure if the formula has changed or not.  Right, let's get into the swatches.

To save me repeating myself throughout this post I absolutely LOVE all of these polishes!  They do freak my camera out with how bright a lot of these are which also makes my skin tone look a lot darker (it also made me look more tanned in person too - perfect for summer!).  The formulas across the collection are great and don't require any undies.  Woohoo!  OK swatches! 
 
Anything But Basic is a neon pastel green creme.  The formula of this one is fantastic.  It applies evenly and is opaque in two coats.
 

Can You Not? is a bright purple creme.  This one also applies evenly, however it is a tiny bit sheer at the tips (but I am super fussy with these things) after two coats.  That being said, I wore this with two coats.
  

First Class Sass is a bright pastel orange/leaning coral creme.  This one does apply a little unevenly on the first coat and needed three coats to even out, which is what I used for my swatch.

Get It, Girl!  is a neon pink creme with a slight orange tone.  Now depending on your screen settings this swatch may not be 100% accurate.  I found that depending on which screen I look on it looked more pink than what it does in person.  No matter what - it's a gorgeous colour!  It does apply a little patchy on the first coat however evens out perfectly on the second coat.

Get Lost is a pastel blue creme.  I really feel like this one doesn't belong in this collection.  Every other polish seems to have a brightness to them, except for this one.  It's just a straight pastel.  Still really pretty though.  The formula is a little uneven but builds up in two coats.  I used two coats for my swatch but do question if I should have done a third coat.

Girl Gang is a bright pink toned purple (or maybe it's a purple toned pink).  I am obsessed with this colour!  The formula is fantastic and applies evenly.  My swatch shows two coats.
 

I'm Outta Here is a bright aqua creme.  This is one of those polishes that it depends on your screen whether this one is 100% accurate or not.  It is gorgeous!  The formula is great and is opaque in two coats.

It's All In The Attitude is a neon green creme.  My camera definitely freaked out with how bright this one is so the colour isn't 100% accurate.  The formula is great, it applies evenly and is opaque in two coats.

Like A Boss is a bright pastel yellow creme.  The formula surprised me on this one.  I was expecting it to be a patchy mess.  But it's fantastic!  It applies evenly and is opaque in two coats.

    

Take A Chill Pill is a bright blue creme.  This has by far the best formula of the collection.  It's super close to being a one coater!  My swatch shows two coats.

    

Talk To The Hand is a neon orange creme.  This one is only slight patchy on the first coat but evens out perfectly on the second coat.
  

Totally Worth It is a bright dusty pink.  Now this is the polish that leaked so I am not 100% sure if the formula has changed at all or not.  With that said, this polish seems to have a slight jelly formula to it.  It applied streaky on the first coat and needed three coats to even out.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS COLLECTION!!!  The colours are all amazing and I will definitely be wearing them a lot - both as full manis as well as in nail art.  I am obsessed!  Now I have started working on some comparisons with these polishes but if there are any specific comparisons you want to see then let me know and I will try and do them.

Color Club Hypnotic Hologram Collection - Swatches & Review

Every now and again Color Club pop up with a new collection - but sadly they don't really seem to advertise them.  I also struggle to find swatches online as well, which usually means I have to take a gamble if I want to buy them.  Anyway, I saw that there was the new Hypnotic Hologram Collection which I thought would be interesting.  I mean it is holographic (who doesn't love holo?) and I also like Color Clubs holos so I jumped in a grabbed it.  Mind you it has taken me a good month (maybe two) to actually get around to swatching it - thanks for the lack of sunshine Melbourne! But now I have it to share with you.

Before I dive into the swatches and my review I just wanted to say that I am not entirely sure if these polishes are meant to be glitter toppers or polishes to wear alone.  They are all very sheer - especially on the first coat but most of them do build up nicely in three coats.  There are two in this collection that are more sheer than the others but I will get into those in a minute. Each of these are super sparkly but I'm not sure if the sparkle really translates in pictures.

Ain't It Grand has a clear base filled with gold holographic glitters.    Gold isn't usually my choice of polish but this one I will make an exception for.  It's so beautiful.  This one has probably one of the thickest formulas but it is easy to work with.  My swatch shows three coats.

Bougie Baby has a clear base filled with blue holographic glitters.  Now this is one of the really sheer ones.  It doesn't seem to have has much glitter in it.  It definitely is a gorgeous polish though.  For my swatch I used four coats and sponged a fifth coat on.

On The List has a clear base filled with silver holographic glitters.  I love, love, love this one!  It's sooooo sparkly.  This one builds up to be opaque in three coats which is what I used for my swatch.

Poppin' Bottles has a clear base filled with redy orange (?) and gold holographic glitters. I honestly wasn't expecting to like this one as much as the others, but I love it.  There is something about this colour that is actually really pretty.  For my swatch I used three coats.

Take Me To VIP has a clear base filled with purple holographic glitters.  Now this one is the other really sheer one in this collection.  Like with Bougie Baby this one appears to not be as glitter heavy as the others so it takes forever to build it up.  It's such a beautiful colour though.  For my swatch I used one coat and then sponged another two coats over the top.

Top Shelf has a clear base filled with pink holographic glitters.  This is actually the first one that I wore from this collection and it was honestly love at first sight.  My swatch shows three coats.

I am obsessed with this collection.  These babies are seriously so sparkly - I love them all.  They are definitely perfect for the holiday season, especially if you love blingy nails.  I'm trying to decide which one I want to wear for Christmas.

Color Club Halo Crush Collection - Swatches & Review

Back in June I posted Color Club's Halo Chrome Collection (you can see that post here if you are interested) and I think I mentioned that I also had the Halo Crush Collection.  Sadly, I haven't had the sunshine or the time to swatch and review this collection....until now!  Woohoo!  I can't wait for Spring to arrive so that I have more flexible to play with holo polishes.  Anyway, before I start babbling, let's take a look at the new (well new-ish) Halo Crush Collection.

This is quite a consistent collection so rather than me repeating myself over and over I figure I will just some it up before looking at the individual polishes.  All of these polishes have a linear holo base with larger holographic glitters throughout.  The formula of the polishes are easy to use and are really sparkly.  I don't think pictures really do these polishes justice.  All swatches are of two coats.

Back To The Grind is an orange holographic with glitters.

I am a really big fan of this collection.  I mean they are sparkly and holo, what's not to like?  In terms of the colours in the collection, there are two that aren't my favourites (Smashing Review and Back To The Grind).  There isn't anything wrong with either of these colours, they just aren't for me.   I also wished that there was a little more of a colour difference between I'm Crushing On You and Shattered.  They are both very similar - I actually thought that I was sent two of the same polish when I first got them.  Anyway, all that said my favourites from this collection would be I've Got A Crush, Shattered, Break It Up and Piece Out.
