Clear Jelly Stamper The Big Bling XL Stamper - Swatches & Review

Tuesday, 29 August 2017

I had initially planned on talking about the Big Bling XL Stamper from Clear Jelly Stamper in my blog post over Sunday, however I got completely forgot to mention it.  I know I have spoken about it here and there in other posts and on Instagram but I really think that this stamper needs it's own post.

I have heard so many people talk about the Big Bling stamper and how amazing it is.  Stupidly, I thought that really how could can it be?  Surely it's just the same as other clear stampers out there but just with a sparkly cap (side note: the cap is gorgeous! and so is the cute box the stamper comes in).  Well, stupid I am!  This thing is hands down my go to stamper now!  I have been using it for all of my recently manis and I am in love!  I have used it with different stamping polishes, different stamping plates and have had no issues.  It picks up and transfers beautifully!  It is easy to see through, but please don't let my poor attempts of layering stamps as a sign that this stamper isn't good - I just lack the skill for layering images.  It's something that I definitely want to improve at.

Here is a look at some of the manis I have done using the Big Bling XL Stamper.

The Big Bling XL Stamper is available now from Clear Jelly Stamper.

Clear Jelly Stamper CJS35 Peacock Garden Stamping Plate - Swatches & Review

Sunday, 27 August 2017

Happy Sunday everyone!  I hope you are having an enjoyable weekend so far.  Today I have another plate from Clear Jelly Stamper to share with you.  This plate is the Peacock Garden stamping plate and features a range of layering images.

I was really drawn to large floral images towards the bottom of the plate.  I think they are so pretty.  Sadly, I did find these images to be a little on the big side so had trouble putting them onto my nails and then lining up the other images on top.  With that said, I do quite like how this mani turned out.  For my base I used China Glaze Throne'In Shade and stamped using Colour Alike B A Green Light and B A Fuchsia Flash, and Powder Perfect's Black Stamping Polish.

I had originally planned on using the butterfly image on this plate but I was determined to get one of the floral images to work for me.  I am happy that I had some more success with the roses.  I think these could make for a great accent nail around Valentine's Day or something.  For my base I used Color Club French Tip and stamped using Bundle Monster Annato Clay and Quasar and Powder Perfect's Black Stamping Polish.

I think the designs on this plate are really nice.  I definitely need a lot more practice when it comes to layering images though.

The Peacock Garden Stamping Plate is available now from Clear Jelly Stamper.

Clear Jelly Stamper Mixed Stamping Polishes - Swatches & Review

Thursday, 24 August 2017

I'm back with another Clear Jelly Stamper post for you.  Today I am going to be sharing with you four of the stamping polishes from their range.  I am always on the hunt for some more stamping polishes (in particular creme stamping polishes!) so these polishes are definitely very welcome in my collection.

Each of the polishes that I have to share with you are the 10ml bottles which is the largest size of stamping polishes that Clear Jelly Stamper offer.  Now if you have been following for a while then you will probably know that I am not a fan of mini sized polishes.  Yes, they are super cute but I find them really awkward to use and to pose with for photos.  There is one exception to my mini rule though - I like mini stamping polishes.  I personally don't think I would ever really go through a full sized bottle of stamping polish (except black and white - they always need to be big bottles) so mini sized bottles mean that I can try more colours.  Right, now let's look at the individual shades that I have.

#16 Shiraz! is a purple creme stamping polish.

#34 Angelic White is a shimmery white stamping polish.

#35 Paula's Pixie Purple is a shimmering soft purple stamping polish.

#41 Sweet Baby Rose is a shimmery baby pink stamping polish.

I am so impressed with these stamping polishes.  You need hardly any product for them to work perfectly (I just did a small line at the top of the image and then scraped it over the image).  I was initially concerned about Sweet Baby Rose and Paula's Pixie Purple as they look really shimmery on the bottle but they stamp more like metallics.  I think all four of these are gorgeous colours and stamp well, but as they are metallics you probably won't see me using them so much.  I love them in person but they never photograph as nicely.  I definitely need to get some more stamping polishes from Clear Jelly Stamper!!  Let me know which ones you recommend/think that I should get.

These four stamping polishes are available now from Clear Jelly Stamper.

Clear Jelly Stamper CJS22 The Essentials One Stamping Plate - Swatches & Review

Monday, 21 August 2017

Clear Jelly Stamper is one of those brands that I have been following for quite some time and have been meaning to get around to trying.  Sadly, I hadn't manage to until now.  I was lucky enough to be contacted by Clear Jelly Stamper asking if I would like to review some of their products.  I jumped at the chance and now have two stamping plates, four stamping plates and the Big Bling XL Stamper to share with you guys.  I have decided to split the posts into three different posts.  Today I will be sharing with you The Essentials One stamping plate.

There are quite a few images that caught my eye on this plate, in particular was this diamond design (I am sure it has a technical name but I can't think of what else to call it).  I knew it would be perfect for layering over itself.  I did originally do it using other colours, however I didn't line the image up correctly so scrapped that mani.  I am happy that I did because I love how this turned out.  For my base polish I used China Glaze Just A Little Embellishment and stamped using Clear Jelly Stamper's Angelic White and Powder Perfect's Black Stamping Polish.

This next mani was actually a mani that I did for the Digit-al Dozen last week.  The checkered image was perfect for my Alice In Wonderland inspired mani.  Polishes used are OPI I Believe In Manicures, Pretty Serious Cosmetics Presence and Powder Perfect's Black Stamping Polish.

I really couldn't go past the layering images at the top of the plate.  While these aren't perfect (I don't blame to plate for that at all - it's definitely me) I really like the idea of these images.  For my base I used Pretty Serious Cosmetics Presence and stamped using Clear Jelly Stamper's Paula's Pixie Purple and Shiraz!

Overall I am a big fan of this plate.  I am still very new to the whole layering of images but I definitely want to practice some more and this plate will be fantastic to keep playing with.  The plate is etched perfectly and I had no issues with picking up or transferring any of the images.

The Essentials One Stamping Plate is available now from Clear Jelly Stamper.
