The Digit-al Dozen Does Decades: Day Two 1950s

Tuesday, 10 January 2017

For today's Digit-al Dozen post I decided to do the 1950s.  When I went to sit down and do this mani I really was questioning why  would pick the 1950s.  I must have had an idea in my head at the time but when it came time to do it I had nothing!  I then went scrolling through 1950s fashion on Pinterest and saw a heap of different spotted dresses.  Red and white polka dotted nails it is.

Polishes used are OPI 5 Apples Tall (from the Hello Kitty Collection) and OPI Alpine Snow.  The bow I think is from Born Pretty Store or maybe it's from Simply Spoiled Beauty.

I think the bow makes this mani look so cute.  It also reminds me that I really should play with my studs etc more often.  They sit in their little drawers so unloved.

Have you been following along with the other Digit-al Dozen ladies?

    1. Thanks Elena. I struggle sometimes too. I end up having to go over some to even them out.

  4. My first thought was Minnie Mouse...which still would have been perfect for the theme!
