I am sticking to my goals so far and am starting to work through swatching some more of the polishes that I purchased last year. Fingers crossed I keep it up and can tick this goal off by the end of the year. Anyway, today I have Pretty Serious Cosmetics Pantone Duo from last year. These have been seriously sitting in my to swatch rack for way too long. Well I am sure you could have guessed that seems Pantone have already moved on from these two colours. I'm interested to see the polishes that come out this year back on the new colour of the year.
Can't Take The Sky is a periwinkle blue creme. Now this colour is absolutely gorgeous. I could have easily added this one to my list of favorites from last year. The formula is great, it applies evenly and is opaque in two coats.
Use The Quartz, Lonestar! is a very pale pink creme. This is one of those polishes that I think look so fresh and are great for spring. The formula is easy to work with, however like a true light colour it does apply quite unevenly. My swatch shows three coats, although I do question whether or not it needs a forth coat.
I really like this duo, particularly Can't Take The Sky. Such a pretty colour. I am excited to see what Pretty Serious Cosmetics have in store for us this year!
The Pantone Duo is available individually from Pretty Serious Cosmetics.
This year's color is GREEN!!! I am so happy it my favorite color....sorry, I know it's not yours. LOL These are perfect for you! They look so clean and fresh!
ReplyDeleteWhile I am more of a fan of pinks and purples I am actually happy to see that this year's colour is green. It definitely is more of a you than me green but it's good to branch out. I'm sure there will be some more greens on my blog soon enough :)
DeleteI am actually trying to increase my pink glitters collection. Blue is my least favorite color and I more of that than pink. That's just not right. :0D LOL
DeleteLol. That's hilarious. When it comes to glitters I have no clue what colour I have more of. Then again I really don't have any clue what colour I have more of when it comes to any polish. You would think it's pink and purple, but I'm not sure they is accurate. Maybe next time I move house I'll sort everything into a colour category just to find out
