Pueen Fireworks Festival (Celebration Collection) - Swatches & Review

Thursday, 12 May 2016

There appear to be lots of destashes happening everywhere at the moment which has worked out very well for me recently.  I have managed to collect a few things that I have been wanting and for what ever reason just never got around to getting.  Case in point - Pueen's Fireworks Festival plate.  The times I have gone to buy it it has been out of stock but Margaret (@loveslacquer on Instagram - definitely worth following if you aren't already) added it to her destash and I snapped it up as quick as I could.  I couldn't be happier.

The Fireworks Festival plate is an extra large plate (18cm x 24cm) and is filled with a million and one designs.  Originally I would find these "buffet" style plates very overwhelming and would avoid them but I actually really enjoy the whole mix and match aspect now.  I have used this plate a few times now and I can stay that it is etched perfectly.  I have had no issues with picking up and transferring the designs.

I really like this plate.  There are so many great images.  You can bet you will be seeing more manis from me using this plate.

The Fireworks Festival plate is available from Pueen.

How do you feel about this style of plate?

  1. Gorgeous, that first mani is actually perfection. I keep looking at it. I need to learn to stamp so I can wear those gorgeous designs.

    1. Thanks Vicky. The base is a squish mani (I just finished commenting about that on the Essie post about it). I am a huge fan of stamping and would recommend everyone do it. But that's just me lol

  2. Beautiful manis with it!! I don't have this plate but I do have their Lace Blossom plate which I love!! My plate collection is really growing. I think I have a plate problem more than a polish problem. LOL

    1. Thanks Christy. I don't think there is anything wrong with a growing plate collection at all. In fact mine grows quite quickly too. Not as quickly as polishes but it certainly grows regularly. I do have the Pueen lace plate on the "to blog" list. I think I need more hours in the day to do everything on my lists lol
