China Glaze recently released a nude collection (the Body & Sol Collection - you can find my swatches and review of this collection
here) but I was super excited to see that not long after China Glaze have released a collection full of colour! This twelve piece collection is made in collaboration with Sesame Street and is called You Do Hue Collection. Each of the bottles in this collection comes with a printed lid with a few of the different Sesame Street characters. I do like when brands switch up their lids sometimes - it makes them stand out in my drawers. Anyway, enough about the lids , let's talk about the polish because that is the most important thing.
Ah Ah Ah-mazing is a silver lilac metallic which is also kinda pearly. I really liked the looks of this in the bottle but I hate it on the nails. It is brush stroke city and just looks horrible. My camera/lighting does make this look a lot more even than it looks in person. If this colour was a creme polish then I would get on board with it. The formula is easy to use and it is opaque in two coats.

Beak On Fleek! is a matte yellow. I'm not a fan of this one either. The formula is patchy and streaky, and just a bit of a pain to work with. There are matte polishes that are a lot worse than this but there are also heaps that are a million times better. I think if you are looking for matte yellow nails I would say use a regular yellow and a matte top coat. You will get a better result. For my swatch I used three coats, but as you can tell it's still a little uneven and needs another coat or two.

Dat Color Dough is a blue and silver microglitter in a clear base. I think this one is really pretty and sparkly (as you would expect from a glitter polish). As it is in a clear base it is sheer and requires some layering. It is quite glitter packed so it does build up to be close to opaque in three coats (which is what I used for my swatch) but you can just sponge it on if you want to build it up quicker.

Ernie Your Stripes is an orange with a strong gold shimmer. This one is really sheer and reminds me a little of a Zoya polish (I can't remember the name of it). I personally think that this one would benefit from a base colour of some kind. I used three coats for my swatch but there is still a slight visible nail line.

Free To Be Sesame is a green jelly with green and holographic microglitters. I love this one! I think it is a gorgeous colour and so sparkly. The formula is great and easy to use. You can stop at two coats if you don't mind it being a little see through at the tips, however I used three coats for my swatch. I should also point out that this one does look a little more holo in person than in my pictures.

Fur Real Though is a hot pink jelly. I really wished that this polish was more opaque than what it is. The colour is really pretty. I would definitely wear it again but with a white base. The formula is easy to use and applies evenly. I used three coats for my swatch, but it still has a visible nail line and needs at least another coat or two to cover that.

Grover It is a navy blue jelly with microglitters in blue and holographic. I love this one as well. It's gorgeous. The formula is easy to use, but does drag a little. You can stop at two coats, however I used three coats for my swatch. This one is more holographic than it looks in my pictures. My camera didn't want to pick up the holo properly.

I Believe In Snuffy is a peachy pearly/shimmer. I'm really not 100% sure how to describe this one. I'm not a fan of this one. It is sheer and has visible brush strokes. I used three coats for my swatch, however it does need at least another one or two coats.

I Count Even... is a bright purple sheer tint. I absolutely love the colour of this one but I really wish it was a creme or at least a jelly that the colour could build up. Sadly, it's not. But I don't mind it over a white base. The formula is easy to use and applies evenly. I used two coats on my ring and pinkie nails, and one coat on my middle and index nails. As you can tell there isn't much difference in colour between these because there isn't much pigment in this polish.

Living In The Elmo-ment is a red crelly with silver holographic glitters. I'm neither here nor there with this one. It's not bad but it's far from being a favourite. The formula is easy to use and applies evenly. I used three coats for my swatch.

Monster Piece is a pink with holographic flakes. I love this one! The colour is gorgeous and it is so sparkly. It is a little on the sheer side but it easy to use. My swatch shows three coats.

Trash Can-do Attitude is a metallic green with a golden sheen. I think this in an ok polish. I don't love it, but I don't hate it. The formula is easy to use but it does leave visible brush strokes (these definitely aren't as bad as some of the other polishes in this collection). It is a little on the sheer side and needed three coats to get rid of the visible nails.

I really had such high hopes for this collection but now that I have swatched them I'm really not sure. There are a few polishes I like but then there are quite a few that I don't like at all. I feel like that is a rare thing for me when it comes to China Glaze. Normally I am a huge fan. Anyway, my personal picks would have to be Monster Piece, Grover It and Free To Be Sesame.
