Femme Fatale Cosmetics Color4Nails Exclusives - Swatches & Review

I seem to be on a roll with trios from indie makers at the moment.  Definitely didn't mean for that to happen.  The next post I promise will have more than three polishes.  Today I have three of the polishes that Femme Fatale Cosmetics have made exclusively for Color4Nails.  A few of these have been around for quite some time now and may not even be available anymore so I apologize if that is the case.  It's very hard to keep up with Femme Fatale and their stockist exclusives.  I still have a bunch that are sitting in my polish rack (and have been there for months) waiting for me to swatch them.  I need to either slow down on buying polishes or have more hours in the day to swatch everything.  Obviously I need more hours.  Anyway, onto today's post.

Fire In The Sky is a grey crelly with magenta metallic flakies and purple holo.  This one is easy to use, however I did find it a little on the sheer side (especially on the first coat).  My swatch shows three coats.

Ouija is a charcoal linear holo with purple microglitter and silver holo.  This is really easy to use and opaque in two coats.

Sweet Fir You has a green crelly base (with a hint of teal) and a smattering of golden shimmer and shifting flakies.  This one applies really evenly and is opaque in two coats.

These definitely aren't my favorite polishes from Femme Fatale.  In fact, if it wasn't for collecting all of the Femme Fatales then I would have skipped getting Sweet Fir You.  It's just not my type of polish at all.  The other two I like though and would still purchase.

I have done a little bit of research and have found out the Fire In The Sky has been discontinued so if you are wanting that one you will need to hunt it down in a blog sale.  Sweet Fir You is currently still available on the Color4Nails website and Ouija will be restocked at some point.

Lilypad Lacquer Color4Nails Facebook Exclusive Duo - Swatches & Review

It's been such a loooong time since I have purchased any Lilypad Lacquer (excluding the ones that come in the few What's Indie Box that I have purchased).  It's not because I don't like what they have been releasing it's because the store is either closed or I simply miss them when they are released (or don't have the money for them is more so what it is).  Recently, however I did get my hands on the stunning duo that was made for the Color4Nails Facebook Group.

This Heart Of Mine is a blue based polish with pink and violet shimmer and colour changing chrome flakies.  This polish is stunning.  I absolutely love it.  The formula is easy to use, however I did find the colour a little sheer for my personal taste.  Even after three coats (which is shown in my swatch) I could still see through the tips in direct light.  You can kind of see the shimmer in my pictures (for those new to my blog my camera doesn't like purples especially when they are with a blue) but the shimmer can easily be seen in person.

Wreckless Intentions is a purple based polish with blue and violet shimmer and colour changing chrome flakies.  Another stunning polish.  The formula on this one was easy to use and definitely wasn't as sheer in colour as This Heart Of Mine.  If you don't mind a slight visible nail line then you can get away with two coats of this one.  I used three coats for my swatch.

This duo is simply awesome.  I absolutely love it.  I believe that it's no longer available anymore but I could be wrong.  I picked it up when Color4Nails were selling them to raise money for a charity (sorry I can't remember the exact details).

Powder Perfect Beauty Of Youth Duo (A Color4Nails Collaboration) - Swatches & Review

Powder Perfect and Color4Nails have collaborated again and are bringing use two stunning polishes.  These polishes are a tribute to the beauty of youth and childhood.  Both of these polishes are amazing holographic polishes that are packed with vibrant ultra chameleon chrome flakies and have awesome formulas.  You have the option to layer these over a base colour (I am yet to try this but I really should) or can be worn alone.  I used three coats for all of my swatches.  Now just as a word of warning, even though this is only a duo I may have gone a little picture crazy.  But these just look so beautiful and different in various lights so it was necessary.

Endless Childhood has a silver linear holographic base filled with copper-green shifting flakes and a hint of rose gold.  It's so beautiful and I love it.

Never Grow Up has a silver holographic based filled with stunning fuschia-purple-teal shifting flakies.  Again I absolutely love this one.

I don't know about you but I absolutely love these types of polishes.  They are just stunning and look completely different in different lighting.

Emily de Molly Exclusive Duo for Color4Nails - Swatches & Review

I feel like I am on a bit of an Emily de Molly kick at the moment.  Not that there is anything wrong with that, they are all stunning and the formulas are amazing.  I just know I have a lot of them untried and Hayley keeps bringing out new pretties which I can't say no too.  Recently, Australian Facebook group fans were given the chance of purchasing the Color4Nails exclusives directly from Hayley rather than us having to import them back in again from Color4Nails.  I jumped at the chance and have my swatches and review to share with you today.

 

Corsetry is an off white (or really light grey) holo.  The holo in this one I found quite difficult to capture.  It's definitely more on the subtle side.  Such a pretty polish and amazing formula.  I used two coats for my swatch.

Vintage Lace is a cashmere rose holo.  Super pretty (and holo) and the formula is amazing.  I used two coats for my swatch.

Now I could help myself with these, this duo just screams gradient to me.  Well any nail art with these two polishes together.

I really love both of these polishes.  They are both great colours and the formula of both are fantastic.

I had a look on the Color4Nails site and I couldn't actually find this duo.  I assume that it is sold out.  I haven't heard that it was limited edition so hopefully it will be restocked soon.  I would recommend following the Emily de Molly Facebook Group to keep up to date with everything.  Or just keep checking Color4Nails to see if it pops back up.

Powder Perfect and Color4Nails Collaboration Trio - Swatches & Review

Today I am so excited to share with you one of the first collaborations between Powder Perfect and Color4Nails.  In the past we have seen Powder Perfect exclusives with Color4Nails (meaning you can only purchase these from Color4Nails). It's great for the international fans but for us Aussies it means higher postage costs and a longer wait time.  But this collaboration is the best of both worlds - it is going to be available from both Powder Perfect and Color4Nails.  How awesome is that?

Anemone Awakening is a fantastic dark purple glitter polish with berry, blue and purple micro glitters.  This polish is so packed with glitter so it actually feels gritty when you apply it, but it applies easily and sparkles like crazy!  I'm totally in love with this one.  I used two coats for my swatch plus two coats of top coat to give it a perfectly smooth finish.

Early Sunlight is a sparkling orange microglitter lacquer which flashes of gold and lemon glitters.  Normally I am not a huge fan of orange polishes but this one is gorgeous.  I'm surprised at how much I love this.  The formula is great and hs great coverage.  I used two coats for my swatches.

Summer Horizon is a juicy hot pink polish brimming with pink and lavender microglitters.  The formula of this one is amazing as well.  It applies easily, has great coverage and it looks amazing indoors and outdoors.  Honestly, what else could you ask for in a polish?  I used two coats for my swatches.

I honestly could rave on about this trio for ages but I'm sure no one would read it.  So to put it simply,  you need this trio!!  The polishes are all amazing.  They apply easily, have a ton of sparkle and they look fantastic in indoor lighting as well.  

The trio is available from Powder Perfect at 9am AEST Saturday 28th February or from Color4Nails at 3pm Las Vegas time Friday 27th February.
