Anna Gorelova by Dance Legend Winter 2020 (Part) Collection - Swatches & Review

Wednesday, 18 March 2020

Hello!  How is everyone doing?  I hope everyone is staying safe and has been able to buy the things they need.  I don't know about anywhere else but I know my local area the supermarkets are so empty and things are really hard to find.  I was very lucky today and managed to finally get my hands on some toilet paper, some glycerine and acetone!  Yay for being able to make some nail polish remover again.  I have a lot of new things to swatch at the moment.  Starting with Dance Legend.  I received quite a few polishes and stamping things to play with so expect to see those over the coming weeks.  Today I have two polishes from the Anna Gorelova by Dance Legend Winter 2020 Collection to share with you.

Adamant is described as a holographic with multi chrome metallic flakes which change from a purpleish blue to raspberry red and gold.  I am always a sucker for holo and flakes together and I love this one - especially in the sunshine.  It is a quite sheer so personally I would use a base colour underneath but you can build it up enough to remove the visible nail line in three coats (which is what I used for my swatch).

Lilalit is described as a neutral greyish-purple base with multi coloured flake particles and bright duochrome shimmer shifting from raspberry red to golden green.  This is such a pretty polish too.  The formula is awesome and so close to being a one coater.  For my swatch I used two coats.

I am such a fan of both of these polishes but if I could only pick one I would definitely pick Adamant.

These polishes are available now from Dance Legend.

Anna Gorelova By Dance Legend OWL In Love 2019 Collection - Swatches & Review

Sunday, 19 May 2019

Today I have some more of the Dance Legend polishes I was sent to swatch and review - this time I have three polishes from Anna Gorelova by Dance Legend OWL In Love 2019 Collection.  Now I thought that this collection had more polishes in it but looking in to it now it appears there are only three polishes.  Each of these polishes are gorgeous!

If is described as a a sky blue with a slight green tinge and a touch of grey that gives it a muted look, and it filled with a soft pearly blue glow and a scattering of holographic sparks.  I love this one!  It is is even better in person.  I think the colour is gorgeous as well as that sheen and the holo.  The formula is a little patchy and sheer on the first coat.  I used three coats for my swatch.

Or is described as a reddish pink jelly base with a copper sheen and fine holographic particles.  I'm a huge fan of this one!  It's a great colour with an amazing shift.  The formula is easy to use and applies evenly.  I used three coats for my swatch, however you can stop at two coats.  I just found them a little too see through at the tips for my personal taste.

When is described as a purple base that is filled with holographic flakes, pink micro shimmer and larger greenish blue and raspberry red particles.  I also love this on!  The colour is gorgeous and the formula is fantastic.  My swatch shows two coats.

Anna Gorelova By Dance Legend Winter 2018 (Part) Collection - Swatches & Review

Saturday, 7 April 2018

Today I have the last of the Dance Legend polishes I was sent to review.  Today's polishes are from the Anna Gorelova by Dance Legend Winter Collection.  Both of these polishes are very different from each other, but are equally as gorgeous.  These don't particularly scream Winter to me which is probably a good thing seems Melbourne has been gracing us with some nice warmer weather lately.

69 Starling is a black jelly with purple to green shifting flakies.  I really like the flakes in this polish.  I think they are really pretty.  The formula is a little tricky to work with on the first coat, and applies unevenly and drags as you apply it.  The remaining coats apply nicely though.  I used three coats for my swatch.

70 Seagull is a light, almost white, grey holographic with a subtle golden sheen.  I really like this polish, especially with the golden sheen.  Gives it a little extra something.  The formula is sheer and needed three coats to remove the visible nail line.  It is still quite see through at the tips in direct light though.

Overall, I quite like both of these polishes, however I wish they had better, more opaque formulas.

Anna Gorelova By Dance Legend Swatch Spam - Swatches & Review

Friday, 12 February 2016

For those of you who are familiar with Dance Legend polishes then you will have seen Anna Gorelova's gorgeous nails before (they are all her swatches on the Dance Legend site).  For those who don't know, Anna is a Russian nail blogger and nail artist on Instagram.  If you haven't checked her out then you definitely should.  Anyway, Anna has been teaming up with Dance Legend for a while now to create some stunning polishes and today I have four of those polishes to share with you.

33 Casket is a pink based polished with shimmer and blue and purple glitters.  I think this is a really pretty polish.  I found that the first coat was a little sheer so I needed to use three coats to make it opaque.

35 Borisfen is a mid toned blue with golden shimmer, which also looks a little green depending on the angle.  This is such a stunning polish, especially in the sun.  Pictures just don't do it the justice it deserves.  The formula is great and applies evenly.  I used two coats for my swatch.

37 January is a metallic looking navy blue with fine scattered holo glitters.  Another really pretty polish.  I found this polish tended to drag when you applied polish in the same area so careful application is recommended with as few brush strokes as possible.  I used two coats for my swatch.

43 July is a cream based crelly with glitter that changes from gold to copper.  Such a pretty glitter.  This polish does apply unevenly on the first coat, however it does even out on the second coat.  There is a very slight visible nail line at two coats (which is shown in my swatch).
