 PRESS SAMPLE

It's Polish Pick Up time again.  I swear the Polish Pick Up posts come closer and closer together.  It's crazy!  I feel like it wasn't that long ago that I was typing up September's releases.  Crazy.  Anyway, today I have the stunning polish from Grace-full Nail Polish to share with you.

Char-med is a super shifty aurora shimmer that moves through red, orange and bronze with flashes of green and pink on certain angles.  I absolutely love this polish!  It's gorgeous and super shifty.  The formula is also great and applies evenly.  My swatch shows two coats.

I'm really not sure what else I can say about this polish other than it's a MUST HAVE!  You can thank me later.

Char-med will be available via the Polish Pick Up from October 2nd until October 5th.  This polish is capped to 90 (US) and 10 (UK) so I highly suggest you move quickly to grab yourself a bottle.

Grace-full Nail Polish Autumnal Pruglies Collection - Swatches & Review

 PRESS SAMPLE

Grace-full Nail Polish are back with another new collection but this is a little bit of an exciting collection.  This collection was inspired by a fan group member.  How cool is that?  If you aren't a member of the Grace-full facebook group then you definitely should be.  You can find the group here.  Anyway the Autumnal Pruglies collection features eight polishes in various finishes all in Autumnal colours.  Let's take a look shall we?

'Appily Ever After is a thermal that is brown/deep red at it's coldest and a chartreuse green at it's warmest.  I think this is a good colour for winter (well in it cold state) but in its warm state I am not a fan.  But that is just me.  The formula is great and easy to use.  It has a kind of jelly like consistency and is opaque in three coats.

Autumn Prism is an aurora shimmer that moves through tones of red, green and gold.  I love this polish!  I think it is gorgeous and the formula is great.  I used two coats for my swatch.

Be-Leaf In Magic is a forest green crelly base with ultra chrome chameleon flakes in red/gold.  I quite like this one on the nails.  The formula is a little on the sheer side but it builds up nicely in three coats.

Evergreen Envy
is a jelly teal coloured base with a smattering of holo flakes.  This one is really pretty and the formula is great.  I'm pretty sure I used two coats for this polish but I stupidly forgot to write it down in my notes so I can't be 100% sure.

Finally On Taupe is a taupe base with an orange aurora shimmer flash.  This one is gorgeous too.  Huge fan.  The formula is also great and really easy to use.  My swatch shows two coats.

Garnet Wine is a deep maroon shade that is not a creme but it's also not a jelly.  It falls somewhere in between.   The colour is great for winter and it's really glossy.  For my swatch I used two coats.

Mustard The Courage is a mustard colour linear holo.  This is not my colour at all.  The formula is great and easy to use.    I used three coats for my swatch but you can stop at two coats.

Pumpkin Or Another is a dirty pumpkin colour creme.  This one also isn't my type of colour but it could be great for Halloween nail art.  The formula is easy to use but I did find it to be a little on the sheer side.  I used three coats for my swatch.

This collection isn't my personal taste but there is definitely quite a few pretty shades in the mix.

The Autumnal Pruglies Collection will be available on 26th September at 8pm AEST on Grace-full Nail Polish's Australian site and the international site.

Jessica Cosmetics Indie Fest Collection - Swatches & Review

 PRESS SAMPLE

Monday - we met again.  I hope everyone has had a great weekend.  I have no idea what this week will bring.  I believe some of our restrictions will start to lift this week.  And when I say that there really isn't much of a change to be honest.  Our curfew will be slightly lifted (it will be 9pm-5am instead of 8pm-5am) and I believe exercise is allowed for two hours instead of one.  Woohoo!  I honestly can't wait for some form of normalcy.  Anyway, today I have swatches and a review of the Indie Fest Collection  from Jessica Cosmetics.

Bestie is an off white crelly with a red/copper flecks.  This is such a gorgeous colour.  I really like this one.  The formula is great and easy to use.  For my swatch I used two coats.

Center Stage is a bright pink toned coral creme.  Again, a pretty shade with a great formula.  My swatch shows two coats.

Desert Dust is a brown crelly with golden shimmer.  This is a nice colour but not really my type of shade.  The formula is great and is opaque in two coats.

Dream Catcher is described as a dusty mauve.  I'm not a fan of this colour at all.  It's what I would consider to be a "mature" shade.  The formula is great though.  I used two coats for my swatch.

Headliner is a pastel blue creme.  This one is gorgeous and the formula is awesome for such a light shade.  It is a little streaky on the first coat but evens out on the second which is what my swatch shows.

Petal Power is an orange toned creme.  I'm on the fence about this colour on me.  I can't work out if I like it or not.  Anyway, the formula is great and easy to use.  My swatch shows two coats.

One thing with Jessica Cosmetics is that you can guarantee that you will have great formulas.  I am yet to come across a terrible formula of theirs.  This collection isn't a favourite of mine overall, but I do love Headliner and Bestie.

The Indie Fest Collection is available now from Jessica Cosmetics.

OPI Hidden Prism (Part) Collection - Swatches & Review

 PRESS SAMPLE

There is one thing that has come out of this whole stage 4 lock down period - lots of packages.  There is no simple just duck out to the shops to pick up this or that instead you sit at home and wait for when/if Australia Post decide to deliver.  Anyway, I wasn't actually expecting anything when there was a knock at my door - surprise nail mail!  Inside was these two gorgeous OPI polishes from the Hidden Prisms Collection, some nail/cuticle care goodies and a really pretty face mask.

Coral Chroma is a peachy orange with a strong light pink shimmer.  This is super sheer so I decided to swatch it over OPI Hopelessly Devoted To OPI.  Honestly, I didn't think I would like this polish much but once it was on my nails I changed my mind.  It's gorgeous!  Like I said it is sheer so I am not sure how many coats you would need to make it opaque, but it does make for a great topper.  It is easy to use and does have slight brush makes but I think the colour makes up for that.  For my swatch I used one coat.

Prismatic Fanatic is a blue toned base with a strong purple shimmer.  I absolutely love this shade.  I instantly feel in love with it as soon as I saw it.  It too is sheer but again makes for an excellent topper.  I used one coat over OPI Kanpai OPI!

I love both of these shades!  I think they are both gorgeous and make for great toppers.  I look forward to trying them over some other base colours.

The Hidden Prism collection is available now from David Jones.
