Emily de Molly January 2021 Release - Swatches & Review

Normally I try and mix up the brands and things that I share on my blog so it's not just the same brand in a bunch of posts.  But today I have another post full of Emily de Molly polishes.  These are a little throw back to the start of this year and I believe they are all still available so that's a bonus.  I brought these when they were released but have only gotten around to finishing swatching them.  So without further ado let's dive in.

Ancient Dwellings is a pale chocolate brown crelly with copper/gold/green iridescent flakes.  This isn't a favourite of mine but it could make for a cool base for some nail art.  The formula is great and easy to use.  For my swatch I used three coats but you can stop at two coats.

Hold Me Close is a periwinkle jelly base with pink/orange/green shifting aurora shimmer and silver holographic glitters.  I loooooove this polish.  Pictures don't really do it justice.  It's absolutely stunning.  The formula is great and applies evenly.  For my swatch I used three coats (but you can stop at two coats).

It Never Ends is a dark red based purple jelly with pink/orange/green iridescent flakes.  This is another truly stunning polish.  I love it.   The formula is great and easy to use.  I used two coats for my swatch.

Raise The Stakes is a dark blurple jelly base with assorted iridescent flakes in blue, red and green.  I love this one too.  The colour is gorgeous and so is the mix of glitters.  The formula is great and easy to use.  For my swatch I used two coats.

Steadfast is a pink base with gold to blue shifting foil type shimmer.  Again, love this polish.  It's stunning and the formula is great.  For my swatch I used three coats but you can potential stop at two coats.

Tech Phrases is a teal base with a strong blue shimmer that shifts through to purple.  Big fan of this one.  Such a great colour and it has a great formula.  It does look as though it will have visible brush strokes but they disappear as it dries.  My swatch shows two coats (but three coats on my ring finger because I knocked it).

Ugly Mood is a pale rose gold jelly base with blue/purple/pink shifting foil type shimmer.  This polish is anything but ugly.  It's gorgeous and so shifty.  The formula is also fantastic and applies evenly.  I used three coats for my swatch.

Win Me Over is a pale cornflower blue crelly base with copper/gold/green iridescent flakes.  This has such a pretty base colour and of course I am a fan of the flakies.  The formula is great and easy to use.  I used three coats for my swatch but you can get away with two coats.

I am a massive fan of this collection (obviously or I wouldn't have purchased it).  There are so many awesome polishes and a great mix of finishes and colours.  My personal favourites are Hold Me Close, Steadfast, It Never Ends, Raise The Stakes and Ugly Mood.

Which of these polishes did you pick up?
