Uberchic Beauty Wild West 01 Stamping Plate - Swatches & Review

It has been quite some time since I have done any new nail art so I was a little nervous to start playing with Uberchic Beauty's Wild West 01 stamping plate.  You may be wondering why I am posting about a stamping plate that was released a while ago now.  Well, I was contacted recently by Uberchic Beauty to find out if I would like to fill in any gaps I may have in my collection.  Surprisingly, I don't really have any gaps in my Uberchic collection.  As a swatcher, I do get sent a lot of the new release products (thank you Uberchic!), and I have also purchased a lot of the products myself.  In terms of gaps, there are three plates that I don't have - the alphabet plate, the number plate and Wild West 01.  The alphabet and number plates aren't really my style, and once upon a time I thought the Wild West 01 stamping plate wasn't my style.  I am a big fan of Wild West 02 so thought it would be a great idea to try Wild West 01.

There is something about this first mani that screamed dry brush to me.  No idea why but I am so happy I did it.  I love how it turned out.  Because I used neon polishes this mani looks more washed out in my picture than it does in person.  Boo to cameras doing that to the pretty neons.  For my base I used Emily de Molly Bright Retreat and dry brushed using Color Club Like A Boss, First Class Sass, Get It Girl and Can You Not?  Stamping polish is Powder Perfect's Black Stamping Polish.

It has been an eternity since I have done a simple gradient and I am honestly obsessed with this mani.  It turned out better than I imagine.  For my gradient I used Color Club Take A Chill Pill and I'm Outta Here and I stamped using Hit The Bottle's Snowed In.

It's funny - before sitting down to play with this plate I had completely different ideas of which images I was going to use.  But I am so glad I chose the images I did.  They are so good and I love the manis that I created.

The Wild West 01 Stamping Plate is available now from Uberchic Beauty.

Also side note: have you guys seen that Uberchic Beauty now have polishes?  Including gel stamping polishes.  I am so intrigued about these and can't wait to see some reviews etc about them.
