Emily de Molly April 2018 Releases - Swatches & Review

I can not even begin to tell you how much I have been dying to share these new releases from Emily de Molly with you!  I'm sure if you have seen the sneak peeks Hayley has been sharing on Instagram and Facebook then you are probably dying just as much to see them!  So without further ado.... Actually I probably should give you a heads up that this post is quite picture heavy but you can't have too much of a good thing right?  Ok, now onto the polishes!

Collector Of Maps is a green to purple multichrome foil type shimmer with silver holographic micro glitters and metallic blue micro glitters.  This is such a stunning polish!  The formula is fantastic and applies evenly.  My swatch shows two coats.

Distance To The Sun is a copper (warm) to grey (cold) thermal with strong copper overlay and silver holographic micro glitters.  I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this one!  I think the colours are gorgeous and shift really well and the formula is awesome!  You can easily do two coats, however I did do three coats for my swatch as it was a little see through at the tips for my liking.

Double Take is a blue (warm) to purple (cold) thermal with blue to purple shifting shimmer.  Huge fan of this one too.  Again, both colours are fantastic and transition well.  This polish is a two coat, except I accidentally knock my nails so my swatch shows three coats.

Dreams Of Glass is a very pale purple (can lean grey) with blue shimmer, orange iridescent flakes and silver holographic micro glitters.  This is another favourite of mine.  Such a stunner and I love the flakes.  My swatch shows two coats.

Expelled From Paradise is a pale pink/purple with strong green overlay, silver holographic glitters and green chrome flakes.  I think this is such an interesting and unique shade.  The formula is great and is opaque in two coats.

Glimpses Of Twilight is a dark purple base with strong turquoise overlay, copper holographic micro glitters and lots of metallic copper flakes.  This is another really interesting shade.  The formula is great and is opaque in two coats.

Magnetic Fields is a pink/orange/green multichrome magnetic with gold flakes.  That's right, a magnetic polish!!  I LOVE this one!!  I think this polish is absolutely stunning both before and after the magnet.  The formula is perfect - you could easily get away with one coat.  I used two coats for my swatch.

Teller Of Tales is a red based purple with copper overlay, green/blue/purple/red iridescent flakes and copper holographic micro glitters.  Another gorgeous polish with a great formula.  I used three coats for my swatch, however you can easily get away with two coats.

I am absolutely loving this month's releases from Emily de Molly.  There are sooooo many amazing polishes.  I don't think I can say anything bad about any of them.  My absolute favourites (and boy was this hard to narrow down) are Magnetic Fields, Teller Of Tales, Distance To The Sun and Dreams Of Glass.

The April releases will be available from Emily de Molly's Australian site on Monday 23rd April at 10am AEST and on the international site on Sunday 22nd at 8pm EDT.

  1. LOVE Double Take! I can't say I'm a big fan of colour-shifting polishes, but that's one I definitely like.

    1. How awesome are the colours in Double Take? Once upon a time I use to not like thermal polishes AT ALL. In fact, I avoided them. But now I have jumped the fence and really like them.
