Grace-full Nail Polish Vintage Christmas Collection - Swatches & Review

If you are like me then you may be thinking that it's too early to be looking at Christmas things, but as crazy as it may seem Christmas is only seven weeks away!  I can pretty much guarantee that the next seven weeks will come flying around in no time (which scares me - I really need to get myself organized).  Grace-full Nail Polish will be closing early December so they are bringing us their new Vintage Christmas Collection slightly early to ensure that everyone has time to get their Christmas polishes and presents sorted in time.  This collection is inspired by Vintage Christmas Cards (you can see the inspiration pictures in Grace-full's Facebook Group).

Belsnicke is a purple holo with pops of silver holo microglitter.  This polish is nothing short of perfection to me.  The colour is drop dead gorgeous and the formula is awesome!  This is more holo than it appears in my pictures.  When I wore this the sun wasn't very strong at all.  My swatch shows two coats.

Chet is a microglitter that is super sparkly with aqua, turquoise and silver holo microglitter.  This polish is amazing and soooooo sparkly.  My pictures don't do this polish justice at all.  I had so many compliments when I wore this one.  It's seriously stunning.  The formula is easy to use but it is a little on the sheer side.  Again, the sun wasn't playing nicely when I wore this.  It really is so much better in person.  I used three coats for my swatch.

Christmas Angel is a pink crelly packed with teeny holo glitter in pink, silver and gold.  This is quite pretty.  It does apply a little unevenly on the first coat.  I used three coats for my swatch, however if you do a thicker first coat you will only need two coats.

Christmas Spirit is a deep forest green base with red metallic glitter and bright green holo microglitter with green shimmer.  If this polish doesn't scream Christmas than I have no clue what does.  The polish is a little sheer and needed three coats to build up.

Midnight Clear is a super dark midnight blue with holo flakes.  This has such great depth to it and makes a perfect base for a night sky/galaxy nail art.  The formula is great and easy to use.  I used three coats for my swatch, however you can stop at two coats.  I found that it was still a little sheer at the tips for me.

Rosy Glow is a rose gold and silver micro flakies in a clear base.  I love this one!  Sadly, it's one of those polishes that just don't photograph as nicely as I would like.  The formula is awesome and close to being a one coater.  My swatch shows two coats.

Santa Cutie has a red jelly base and is packed fully of gold super holographic teeny glitter.  I think this is a great polish (especially for Christmas) and the formula is fantastic.  It's close to being a one coat.  I used two coats for my swatch.

Vintage Wonder is a mint green crelly filled with matte and holo circles, orange iridescent glitter and silver holo microglitter.  I love that there is a vintage type of polish.  I remember a few years ago that these types of polishes (and glitter bombs - oh the glitter bombs *insert emoji with heart eyes*) were everywhere.  I love them.  They are just so fun.  The formula is easy to use and didn't required any fishing for the glitters.  I did have to give a little bit of help to some of the larger glitters because they liked to hug each other.  I used three coats for my swatch.

I think that this is an awesome Christmas Collection.  My top three picks would easily be Belsnickle, Chet and Rosy Glow, then followed by the rest of the collection.

The Vintage Christmas Collection is being released today at 9am on Grace-full Nail Polish's Australian site and on November 11th at 7pm on the international site.

  1. This is such a cute collection! I quite like Belsnicke, Chet & Vintage Wonder myself (the latter reminds me of a couple of KB Shimmer polishes I have on my wishlist).

    1. You have great taste in polishes. I don't have any KB Shimmer so I can't compare the polishes for you.
