Emily de Molly Aussie Indie Con 2017 Purchases - Swatches & Review

Before I jump into today's post I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who takes the time to read my blog and leaves me comments.  You guys always leave so many nice comments.  I also love how many of you thank me for writing such honest reviews.  I have said it before (but I think that it's usually in replies to comments) but I will always give my honest opinion on something.  It doesn't matter to me whether it is something I have purchased myself or something that I have been sent, you will still get my honest opinion.  I know how expensive polish and all polish related things are and I would hate for someone to buy something based on a review saying I like something, when I don't.  Any reviews that I have with products that I have been sent are all marked as "press samples" at the top of the post, just under the heading on the right hand side.

Right moving on to today's post.  Today I have my swatches of the three polishes I purchased from the Emily de Molly table at Aussie Indie Con back in June.  Like I mentioned in my Aussie Indie Con haul post (you can find that here if you missed it) I didn't really pick up much from Emily de Molly on the day because I was either sent the things I had planned on buying (the exclusives and June releases) or I already own them.  I may or may not have a shopping addiction.  Anyway, even though I only picked up three polishes this post is quite picture heavy.  You have been warned!  Lol.  Right, polishes....

A Pink Acquisition is a bright pink leaning coral with strong blue to purple shifting shimmer.  I honestly thought this was a new polish (I even had to ask Hayley if it was new) but it turns out it's from January this year.  I have no clue why I didn't get it when it was first released.  It looks super pretty in the bottle, which is why I was drawn to it.  I'm not sure if I love it on my nails though. The formula is easy to use but it a little sheer.  I used three coats for my swatch but it is still see through at the tips.

Ava is a bright red based purple, with strong turquoise blue shimmer.  LOVE this one!!! This was definitely at the top of the list of things that I had to buy at Aussie Indie Con and I am soooooo happy I have it.  You'll definitely be seeing this in my favourites at the end of the month.  The formula is awesome and the colour is to die for.  I used two coats for my swatch.

State Of Mind is a pink/gold/green multichrome holo with copper flakes and a small amount of copper holographic glitter.  LOVE this one as well.  It's so stunning!  I love the flakes, the holo, the colour shifts, the formula...I just love everything about it.  It looks great both in direct light and without direct light.  My swatch shows two coats.

I'm seriously loving Ava and State Of Mind.  I think they both would make it into my top favourite Emily de Molly polishes ever!  I am so excited to see what Hayley releases next....
