The Digit-al Dozen Does Colour Contrast: Day Three Orange & Pink

Right I think I am on track with this whole colour contrast business.  My brain automatically thinks complementary colours, probably because I think they look pretty rather than contrasting colours.  According to my good friend Google contrasting colours are three steps away on the colour wheel.  Sounds simple enough, except pink doesn't really appear on the colour wheel so I have slipped it in between the purples and red meaning that it's contrasting colour would be orange.  Yep just making things up as I go.  Anyway pink and orange are actually one of my favorite colour combinations.  You probably have seen me use it a lot over the years in my nail art on Instagram.

I originally had something else completely different in mind for today's mani however I received my B Loves Plates order the other day (which had my Halloween plate in it.  Just a tad bit late but lucky for me it is in time for Halloween 2017).  Also inside my order was the neon stamping polishes which I just HAD to use and I did.  For this mani I used OPI Alpine Snow for my base and stamped using B Loves Plates/Color Alike B A Fuchsia Flash and B An Electric Orange.  Stamping design is from B Loves Plates B.08 Feather Fever.

Don't forget to check out what the other girls have been doing for their Colour Contrast manis.

    1. Thanks Christy! Yay for us for Halloween 2017. I really want the Lina Nail Art Supplies Halloween plate. I am hoping it is restocked for when I order the Christmas plates.

  4. This is a stunning mani and I love the plate, I have a list of stamping plates the length of my arm now! I seriously need to win the lottery to find this new nail art habit.

    1. Thanks Vicky. I here you on needing to win the lottery. It's so hard to keep up with all the new things that keep coming out and definitely harder when you are just first starting.
