Pueen Cosmetics New HD Chunky Transparent Stamper & Scraper Set - Swatches & Review

Last week I received a surprise package from Pueen Cosmetics with two Chunky Transparent Stamper and Scraper Sets.  Now at the time I was extremely confused and thought they were the same that I had previously reviewed and currently used.  Then came the panic of me thinking that maybe I hadn't posted about those stampers.  I even double checked that I had actually done the post (you can see that post here).  I then thought that somehow Pueen must have know that my stamper had an unfortunate accident with acetone.  Fast forward to Saturday and I saw that the stampers I had received were in fact an new HD Chunky Transparent Stamper and that the base also is removable meaning you get an even clearer view of what and where you are stamping!

This stamper is AMAZING!  I thought the original transparent was a game changer but this one is honestly amazing.  It comes with a clear (not cloudy base) which you also have the option of removing to give you a crystal clear view.  I have been using mine with the base and just love it.  I personally would worry about too much fluff etc getting into the stamper to always have the base removed.  I have included a picture below to give you an idea of how they look with (shown on the right) and without (shown on the left).  This isn't 100% how they really look.  They are definitely a lot clearer in person.  I definitely recommend checking out some of the videos that are around so you can see what I am talking about.

Without base (left) vs with base (right)
The stamping head is soft and squishy and perfect for people like me with rounded nails.  And a huge bonus - it doesn't require any priming what so ever.  I have actually done quite a few manis with this stamper and have had zero issues.  You can check out some more manis I have done in yesterday's post.  For the mani below I used Sally Hansen's Pacific Blue (the original version), Powder Perfect's White Stamping Polish and Dance Legend's Green Stamping Polish.  Stamping images are from Pueen's Double Fun 01.  I have a review of this plate here.

I am seriously obsessed with this stamper!  Obsessed!  I love everything about it and think that everyone needs one!  I feel like I need to purchase multiple back ups for just in case these meet up with some acetone.

You can grab the New HD Chunky Transparent Stamper & Scraper Set from Pueen Cosmetics.

  1. Wow this stamper sounds like a dream & def one I should get, I also have curved nails and prefer a squiggly stamper than a firmer one. Although I'm struggling to pick an image up clearly with the squishy one xx

    1. This stamper is a dream! Sorry to hear you are struggling to pick up some images still. What polishes are using? And how thin are the lines on the image? Some polishes (both stamping polishes and regular polishes) will dry to quick and actually need extra polish put over the entire image rather than just a line at the top of the image which you then scrap over the image (hopefully that makes sense). Also try not scraping at hard, that sometimes helps or even holding the scraper on a slightly different angle. Each image works so differently that's why stamping can be so tricky and definitely not as easy as most people make it look

  2. I had one but accidently set on my paper towel that I use clean my stamping plate with and the acetone blurred it and fuse some paper towel to it. LOL

    1. That's pretty much what happened to my first clear stamper. It still works fine. I just have to play the guessing came whether things line up or not lol
