The Digit-al Dozen Does Vampy: Day One Lace

I am so incredibly excited and so super nervous for today's post.  I have been considering doing some more nail art related posts here on my blog for a little while now but wasn't really 100% sure how I was going to do it.  Then I just so happened to see that The Digit-al Dozen were looking for some more nail artists (I actually still think it's a little strange to call myself that but that really is a whole other post lol) so I stuck my hand up.  I was so excited when I was accepted into the group and then the nerves really hit when I saw that the first challenge was Vampy.  I'm not really a vampy nails kind of girl so to have to come up with five ideas scared me!  But I do love a good challenge and what better way to kick off.

After many days of "what am I going to do" the main idea I kept coming up with is red and black lace nails.  Given it was my first idea I thought I may as well run with it as my first post. For my base I used Emily de Molly LE39 and then stamped the lace design from Uberchic Love & Marriage 01 stamping plate and Powder Perfect's black stamping polish.

I really love how this mani turned out.  What do you think of my first mani for The Digit-al Dozen?  Make sure you check out the other amazing ladies who are also completing this challenge.  I know I will be eagerly waiting for all their manis.  There is some seriously amazing talent in this group!

    1. Thanks Vicky. I love nail art posts too (all actually all nail posts I like). Nail art posts are tricky to do. It may take me a bit to get a good balance of pictures (how many pics does one need of the same mani?)

    1. Thank you so much Kristi. Transitioning nail art into a blog is definitely tricky. It's one thing to do reviews of nail art products but it's really just a whole other ball game with challenges or just nail art posts because you want to.
