The Digit-al Dozen Does Vampy: Day Five Gradient Stamping

Welcome to the last day of The Digit-al Dozen Does Vampy.  I'm so excited that I made it through all five days!  It was a little touch and go because I was really struggling for some time thinking of what manis to do but I got there in the end.  Now to kick back and relax until next month.

Since I fell in love with my mani yesterday I thought I would do something along the same lines.  What better way to switch it up than to add some stamping into the mix.  First I started with OPI Amore The Grand Canal and then stamped the image from Bundle Monster BM-XL218 (which I will be reviewing at some point in the future - I need more hours in the day to get through everything I want to do) using Powder Perfect's black stamping polish.

I then added my gradient using the same OPI and Pretty Serious Cosmetics Absence.  Now I had a little bit of a "dumb" moment and did the gradient over the stop of the stamping which dulled the stamping a little.  At first it was very much an "oh crap" moment but I actually quite like that the stamping is more subtle.

And of course I just had to add a matte top coat.

This mani really looks much better in person than it does in my pictures.  It's one of my favorite manis that I have done for the Vampy theme.

How have you found this week of nail art from me?  Is there some other nail art challenges you would love to see me try on my blog? Let me know.

Don't forget to check out Day Five from the other Digit-al Dozen ladies.
