Grace-full Nail Polish True Blue Collection - Swatches & Review

To celebrate the opening of their US based warehouse, Grace-full Nail Polish has released an eight piece collection that is inspired by the greatest things Australia has to offer.  Some of the inspirations behind these polishes you may be aware of (and maybe have even seen in person) while others may not be as obvious.  Personally I love the mix of the inspirations, and I love the polishes.  I think this would have to be one of my favorite collections that Theresa has ever released.  Be warned, this post is quite pic heavy.  Sorry....I think.

Barrier Reef is a turquoise base (based on the waters of the Great Barrier Reef) with tiny lavender and silver holo glitter and specks of crystal in purple.  Such a gorgeous colour.  I found the formula was a little sheer and applied uneven on the first coat.  I used three coats for my swatch.

Bondi Beach is a blue based linear holo with a metallic look that flashes green and gold in different lights, given the polish an ocean look.  This polish is definitely a favorite of mine.  The colour is amazing and the formula is fantastic.  It is so close to being a one coater.  It also looks more holo on the nails than my pictures show.  My camera freaked out with it.  My swatch shows two coats.

Cootamundra Wattle is a yellow green based linear holo with teeny gold holo glitter and gold flakes throughout.  I had a little laugh at the name of this polish, not because the name itself is funny but because my mum was born and raised in Cootamundra.  It's not really a place that many people are aware of.  Anyway, there is some random information for you.  The polish is a great colour and the formula is fantastic.  I used two coats for my swatch.

Daintree is green teal linear holo with a metallic look and specks of blue flecks throughout.  Gorgeous colour, great formula.  I used two coats for my swatch.  Again this one looks much more holo in person than it does in my pictures.

Jacaranda Tree is a linear holo with a lilac base.  It has a slight colour shift to pink and a metallic look.  If you are thinking that this would be another favorite of mine, then you are correct.  It's such an amazing colour with a fantastic formula.  My pictures show two coats.  This one is also more holo than it looks in my pictures.  Seriously I have no clue what is up with my camera and not liking these holos.  Silly thing.

Pink Lake is a bright pink linear holo with a metallic look.  Love it!  Now this one my camera refused to show any holo in my pictures.  Trust me it is there in person.  The formula is great and opaque in two coats.

Southern Cross is a deep blue jelly packed with holographic flakies that give it a gorgeous night sky look.  I'm a huge fan of this one too and really need to do some starry night nail art with it.  So pretty.  The formula is great and easy to use.  I found that there was a slight visible nail art after two coats so I used three coats for my swatch.

Uluru is a multichrome linear holo with a slight metallic look.  It shifts from red to gold to orange perfectly reflecting the colours of Uluru, or Ayers Rock.  Now this one was a tricky one to photograph.  My camera didn't like to capture the shifts properly.  They are definitely easier to see in person.  The formula is great and is opaque in two coats.

Wow!  I told you there was a lot of pictures, but I think they were needed.  Like I mentioned earlier I love this collection and I think it is one of my favorites that Grace-full have released to date.  They are all just stunning colours.  My absolute favorites would have to be Bondi Beach and Jacaranda Tree.  They both made my heart sing very loudly!

The True Blue Collection is available now from Grace-full Nail Polish (Australian customers), Rainbow Connection (UK customers) and from Grace-full Nail Polish's international site.

Which polishes in this collection are your favorites?
