This mani is probably the best decals that I have ever done, and it still has creases in it (although they don't stand out heaps) Olivia Jade Nailshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09078332663841859187noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3651463166631162260.post-90280810104816955942018-10-16T07:23:58.260+11:002018-10-16T07:23:58.260+11:00My nails are super curved and my decals are always...My nails are super curved and my decals are always wrinkled, no matter what I do, when I place them. So maybe the topcoat is still too wet and I have to let it get a bit tacky first. I'll try that. Thanks for the article! When putting them on the nails your top coat on your nail needs to be tacky not wet. It shouldn't matter if you use a quick dry top coat on your actual nail to place the decal. You just need to move a lot quicker to place it. Overall, it really is just trial and error, and practice. I still have issues making decals some days. Hopefully that helps. Good luck :)Olivia Jade Nailshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09078332663841859187noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3651463166631162260.post-23887573097643674832016-08-30T10:23:35.497+10:002016-08-30T10:23:35.497+10:00When I apply my decals they seem to get all squish...When I apply my decals they seem to get all squished and deformed. Am I applying them to too wet of a top coat? I have been using a quick dry top coat to maybe I need a slower drying brand. I assume the extra top coat holds it together. But who knows really. If you can do it without it then go with that. I was told that it's best to have the base colour slightly tacky to pick up the stamp. I have only used the uber mat once so far so I can't really comment from personal experience. I'll definitely let you know if I come across that issue :)Olivia Jade Nailshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09078332663841859187noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3651463166631162260.post-49957794493853132202015-09-14T20:25:28.594+10:002015-09-14T20:25:28.594+10:00My base polish on the Uber Mat kept coming up when...My base polish on the Uber Mat kept coming up when I stamped on it and I was told to stamp with a lighter touch.
